Love the North Harbour stadium. Watched a number of Harbour games there and chiefs vs blues games, all blacks games and an ANZAC clash of the kiwis against the Aussies.
Used to live a short walk from it too so that definitely helped in my mid 20s haha.

Mate, chances are I probably ran into you at Devonport at some stage haha. What was the pub on the corner that all the navy lads went to? Forget the name of it.

The Esplanade? Patriot? Been a while to be fair (early 2000S), but all the pubs on the road down to the ferry were full of us.
One place used to do a drink called 'a flaming lamborghini' with a one drink limit haha (Ronrico/Bacardi 151 was in it).
Well other than the junior rates wets the ferry had dirt cheap steinlagers so used to smash them on the way over to the city too haha

Great stadium it is, first visit as a reward in basic training we went to the ground and got drunk behind the commentators box
Problem is it's clear glass and they could see all the uniforms in the background so got our asses kicked for 2 weeks after that cos it was on the big screen and all over the tv haha

Probably did cross paths, enjoyed my couple years there as a young 17 year old when I joined
Even got to mark an old michael jones (Iceman) after he had retired but still played in the local north shore comp (One of my favourite players)
Wish you could swap jerseys or something but just being on the same field regardless of his age will probably be my lifetime highlight

Anyways back to the Fantasy talk, couple hours to go

NFI what to do with trades now but thinking of bringing Fui in as I'll be trading Aubs out next week. I do have Wiliame in though so even that's not set in stone. Captain McInness - hoping at least that goes right tonight!

I’m dreading some of the scores that could come from tonight’s games. Cleary and McInnes obviously the main ones. Yeo, Koro, Moses, Matterson and Lomax to a lesser extent.

Sharks and Titans reserves make me think there could be some late changes tomorrow.

Sharks have Nikora making the cut in the 19.
Titans have Young T and Fermor also making the cut.

Can do Sironen to McInnes in 1 trade.... would pretty much fuck my chances of getting Teddy AND a strong 17th man but as McInness would end up as my gun 2RF.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned already but I found this very informative. There are also video examples of some contentious decisions from this season with explanations.

Same. Had Harbour top, hated Auckland, watched a battle of the bridge behind a fence at Onewa Domain in 94.

Yeah this clears a lot up for me, explains why they haven't been giving the TBs. Still doesn't quite explain Mann's TA last week (since he actually ran out of dummy half and drew a defender), but it's a step in the right direction at least.

    Great work there Ozmandias

You can also ring/txt this number as well
    0406 650 430
Just send or leave a message with what the problem is, IE "At the 42nd minute Tedesco broke a tackle and it hasn't been counted" and apparently everyone will be reviewed
That will be a game changer alone for during the game on the forum
Smash them with messages I reckon

Been to the stadium and spent a bit of the time Around there, prefer it to the other side haha
Being in Devonport that put me on the right side of the bridge I guess

Remember as teenager like 14 walking past some bar and Navy guy was like hey bro wanna fight and I'm like dude I'm 14.

Growing up in 80s I think bar next to Esplanade was Red Lion was absolute dump and was always brawls. Ferry building was rusty and broken down then they rebuilt it and Devonport got all gentrified

Random trivia. "Red Lion" is the most common pub name in the UK

Managed to trade Teddy in for Young last night before Aubs got injured Very Happy

Reckon if I had of left it for another week like I was thinking it would not have happened this season

Also was trying to set up an elaborate loop with Aubs, Crichton and Siro about 2 minutes before my five a side game kicked off but in the end I couldn't be fucked and just played Aubs Very Happy

I actually don't really have a team.....came to Aus in the 80's as a kid and was spun out by the brutality of the game (having never seen it before).....liked Souths Brisbane & the Bulldogs but drifted away until I started managing a factory about 10 years ago and got sucked back in by being cajoled into playing NRLF. Now just appreciate good play and a great game.

Also, as a side note, I went to a SOO game at Lang Park as an 11 year old in the mid 80's. Was in the standing section at the Caxton Street End and I'm not sure i have ever been that scared since...cans flying, fist flying, vomit flying...good times
