You know what Chucky? You are right! When he first started (commentating) I was like, this guy sees the game right, Blocker's an idiot, Braith's an idiot, but this guy has insight. And he does. But he talks over everyone and repeats the same thing over. I'm surprised despite being mates, Corey hasn't smashed him, haha!

Also, is it mandatory for commentators to repeatedly use the words "really" and "fatigue"? Or only if they pronounce them "Rooly" and "F'toigh"?
Yeah, some of the pronunciations are horocious.

I’m well off the pace this week. I have had Pap 31, Latrell 20 and Siro injured with 23 and Aubbs injured with 15. I am 14/786.

I will definitely be struggling to get to 950 from here. I’ll definitely be losing ranks.

A positive is I have 6 trades left.

I think one of my trades next week will be Aubbs to Dearden. Dearden is averaging 45 this last month and should still be a bit under 450k this week, he can be my 17th man.

I know when Milford is back Dearden could lose some kick metres but should still score around 40.

Not sure what I’ll do with Siro yet. Could possibly look at McIntyre is the name that comes off the top of my head.

Looks like I’ll be double trading next week.

    748/12

Jurbo, DCE, Talau, Ponga Brooks in action tomorrow to get me to 1000

5 players in action means I should be able to get some rank rises in

Also, Kyle Feldt sucks as goal kicker. Always been in the 60's for percentage accuaracy unless I'm talking out my ass. You could argue lost the game. I've been arguing ever since Holmes was injured, that he was a poor choice. At the time, I would have chosen Clifford or Marsters. Now that they're not in the team?? Anyone but Feldt. He can keep doing the kickoffs.

Speaking of Clifford, I know he had a bad game a couple of weeks ago, but he's better than Hampton for the most part, a bigger body in defence (when he's not caught out) and his kicking game is better than Morgan's, Hampton's, Drinkwater's or any Cowboys half for that matter. And he can kick goals. And Hampton is the perfect bench utility as he can play any position except prop, and even then he'd have a crack I reckon.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Clifford is like Fogarty. Needs to be given the 7 jersey (and goal kicking), and with some confidence, allows Morgan to be the five-eighth that he is. And at least while Val is out, gives us right foot Clifford and left foot Drinkwater, because let's face it, Morgan's kicking game sucks.

Pearce, Ponga and Lucy to come for me tomorrow.

Fermor hopefully gets a second row spot with Proctor defs gonna be out too. If Proctor gets 6 weeks for that then Fermor could defs come into 18th man consideration.

Anyone  else looking at bringing Dearden in next week?

I have really liked what I’ve seen from him.

He is a shining light in dire times for the Broncos.

Did you end up getting Kodi? Or is that where Brooks comes into it? You've been killing lately, good luck for the run home mate! I considered Brooks, Wighton, Gilliams, but went with SJ, hope his groin is AOK.

Got Brooks instead of Kodi. Decided Kodi's big score last week was an anomaly and didn't trust him to back it up.

Its annoying when you are tossing up between 2 players, and you pick the one that gets injured. But everyone has been hit this year to some degree or other, and there are "what if" stories everywhere. Can't dwell on them too much.
    Hopefully SJ is OK

Bruh you're lucky compared to me, I'm 4 points behind you and none of my players got injured this week, they just all suck (my 4 lowest scores are HTF's 21, Papy's 31, Lomax's 36 and Wighton's 38, with my 2 highest scores being Haas and Carrigan, who everyone has). My only pseudo-POD that did remotely well was Fifita with 60

In addition to this, I have worse players coming up (Ponga, Mann, Talau vs Ponga, Pearce, Lucy) and I have 3 trades left instead of 6.

The no injuries part is nice, but you'll still have more trades than me even if you double trade to cover Aubo and Siro.

As it stands for me, I won't be making any trades next week unless injury or suspension forces me to again like it did this week, and I'm praying Munster and Averillo can get back next week, though it's unlikely.

NRL Physio reporting Arrow could be gone 3-4 weeks with high grade AC joint injury as he's pictured in sling

Mikaele out of squad with injury could make Talau/McIntyre decision a little tougher as McIntyre could get more mins off bench in middle if squad stays as is
