998! Now have scored a 1000, 1010, 998 & 999 in the last four weeks.....consistent but treading water and losing ground slowly. Haas might be an opportunity to shake things up.

That's huge. I was down to 302 last week but 957 (understandably) saw me back down to 385.

I've only just seen this Haas news now. Wowser. Add to that Pearce, and a few duds I think I'd rather move on in Talaua and McIntyre and then Sironen and Averillo if still injured. Things about to get real ugly.

Pretty much put a line through Brooks this weekend. No point trading Pearce out for his equal. Reynolds didn't overly appeal to me either, with a 50-odd score including a try.

The two dudes I like right at the minute are actually Paseka and Talakai. If they look like holding onto their positions for a while I'm interested. But even as I type that, they'd have to be guaranteed to play out the rest of the regular season to take the punt, and that's probably not likely.

Talakai is an interesting one. Seems to have his spot on merit over Nikora and could be a beast outside SJ.

Basically looking for a left-field option under around 500k that could potentially go boom to replace Sironen. Tossing up Talakai, Brooks and Kikau.

Talakai is DPP 2RF/CTR in Supercoach & VSDT. Pretty sure if he was the same in Fantasy he'd probably already be in most teams. Wink He'd definitely be in mine by now... but if he gets named again and no sign of Nikora, I'll be seriously tempted.

got lucky this week finished on 1000 updated to 1009, last week had a shocker Tedes(C)o killed me finished on 861! Rank is 3623 was 4398, Captained Haas for the first time in 6 weeks and struck gold, shout out to Aloiai who came in clutch for me today, did not expect that, 3 trades left so just hanging in there, still have Flano so hopefully he is in there this week if so will have a bench of Flano Mann Young Havili once i swap Aloiai in for Haas, EMG will be Haas Siro Randall Hetherington, really need Brimson to give me backup so i can put Lomax to CTR and move McIntyre to bench, as long as i can field a 17 this week i won't trade, have 540k itb, will be holding Haas, by time i run out of trades Hetherington will be available, Randall could get a game this season, will probably trade Siro next week to Brimson but will wait to see what carnage round 15 throws up Smile

Just as you said the other day my team was more stacked than you, looked how that worked out lol.... you’ve gonna up 100 and odd places and I’ve dropped down 100 and odd places.

When I saw what Nofo got the first person I thought of was you.

I only scored 951 it was a struggle all round. Rank has dropped from 335 to 441.

Aubbs 15 and injured along with Siro 23 and injured didn’t help me. Latrell 20 and Pearce 38 also didn’t help my cause at all.

At least I have 6 trades left. Dearden is one I’m looking to possibly bring in this week. Then I have to decide whether I trade Pearce to Moses and play Hammer in my 17 or whether I hold Pearce and go Siro to someone in a similar price range to play over Hammer in my 17 next week.

People seem to have miscued players like Sironen and Bob Jane (McIntrye for the needy) .. it happens every year though when looking for value. I got those 2 early, as cashouts, possible coverage and playable centre for McIntyre. If one or both ended up a legit playable 1 to 17 then thats a huge bonus, not anything relied on though. Its that expectation difference, between being ok with the 20 to 40 scores or hoping they pump out regular 50's...

I got Sironen as 18th man for the run home, before promptly watching him become a top 17 main stay due to injuries. Seems like he will be in my 17 most weeks covering for someone and probably isn't good enough for that role

I’m wondering if it’s worth flicking him to someone like Kikau or even Graham who has some security and able to go big. Makes a half decent loop option I guess.

1008 this week! 4x1000 + & 2x99X scores in the last 6 weeks. I have my highest ranking ever, although its in the 8000....

Poor choices at the start of the season but I'm stoked with how it's going

I'll have to see what plays out with Haas. If he gets 1 week he is a hold, 3 weeks he is a trade. 2 weeks will be interesting as I expect it will be a long 4 weeks as a non owner to end the year. Something like Haas>Klemmer allows a decent option for Sironen

Man my team will be looking pretty sad this week pre-trades. Can maybe field 17, but playing all of Starling/Siro/HTF was not meant to happen.

    Cook
    Taupau (?), JFH
    Jurbo, Lucy, Young
    Cleary, Pearce
    Ramien, Pompey
    Teddy, Ponga, Pap

    Jazz, Starling, HTF, Sironen
    Randall, Munster(?), Haas(?), Fuimaono(?)

Was hoping I'd be able to trade out Young to Matto but think I'll be short with 232K ITB. 4 trades left so might have to hold onto green dots anyway.

EDIT: Missed Sironen injury, sounds like he might miss some time.

Yeah Haas is a biggie. Not really keen on being left with 2 trades with 6 weeks left if I need to replace Haas and Sironen

Finished on 984 this week, ranking 682.

Used one trade last week Young > Fifita which worked out okay. Only 4 trades remaining however I do not have FRF cover so if Haas is out I will have some thinking to do. Could hold Haas and trade Murray to a FRF (Twal? or Tapau).

Pearce has been stinking it up the past 2 weeks but I dont feel I have enough trades left for a luxury upgrade. Also Cook has been underwhelming since I traded him in 2 weeks ago although he always has the potential to bust out a monster score.

What happened to Pearce’a intercept + 50m run? He updated from 34 to 38.
Did that not count as a LB

Even if Haas is out 1 week there's going to be a few forced trades to have cover (not necessarily trading Haas out, but using a trade). Not widespread, but significant.

Quick look at the top 20, 2 have no FRF cover, 2 have Royce Hunt, there's a few with Rudolf or Thompson as backup which is ok. If Taupau is out again there's another 5-6 in trouble there.

Would think it's the same as you go down the ranks.
