Fkn devastated for Haas. He has such a good story behind him and you could tell his brother meaned everything to him. Feel so bad, don't even care what it means for fantasy at this current moment

I didn't want to be the first to mention it but yeah it could have fantasy ramifications.

Trading Munster -> papalii leaves $152k itb.

Also need to replace Aubusson on bench to make 17. Who is the best option for overall points (holding haas so probably won’t be playing in 2 weeks). $600 to play with, 1 trade remaining after this one for the run home.

Jake Friend slides in nicely at $599k. Dylan Edwards or RTS if you want a fullback that could go boom.

EDIT: For having only one trade left, I'd suggest a DPP player for positions you might need cover.

His brother that passed was a quadraplegic, sad story.. parents were in a car crash when his brother was 5mths old, mother was pregnant with Payne at the time. Payne always said his brother was his driving force.

Yeah, I didn't want to come across cold which I'm not, because I just don't want people to expect him to return in two weeks. Wouldn't blame him if he leaves now and doesn't play the rest of the year.

Would leave me with 2 trades left, $100k itb for emergencies. Have HTF and Siro as 18th and 19th man

Yeah it feels a bit dirty to think about but we have to take it into consideration at the end of the day

Yeah agreed. At the end of the day we are on a fantasy forum here. It sucks we have to talk about it but it's all in good spirits. I see 2 outcomes from this tragedy - he either takes his time and doesn't play the rest of the year (which I expect) or he comes back after his suspension and rips in and dedicates it to his brother. Either one big respect to Haas, got a huge career ahead of him and now he will be able to do it with his brother watching over him every step of the way

1 angle we haven't mentioned re B. Hunt (c) is he's playing his old team & he'll lift because of it. Also the sad news re Haas' brother passing away means as people have mentioned he could be out longer. Maybe he took the early plea knowing he wouldn't of played this week due to the funeral & he'll use the 2 weeks in isolation.

I like those trades if you think Barnett will keep it up.

17-21 would be
Randall for purposes, but also in case he gets another run, and then loop Cotric and Siro with HTF and Herbie at 20 and 21.

Was going to hold trades but all this Haas talk makes me tempted to use Haas- Hunt

Only 2 trades left, so this would be a hard one to leave me with just 1 trade

After reading the quotes from Haas on NRL.com I think he’ll be back in 2 weeks and more determined than ever.
BJ Leilua left the bubble for family reasons and was allowed to return straight away. Hopefully they do the same for Haas.
