I am biased but Mattison is a beast. I am sure the Vikings will sort out Cooks contract but even still, Mattison will do some work.

Best to use the desktop app if you have a computer: http://www.sleeper.app as it has no mascots

Most of the functionality is limited until after the draft. Left hand is the breaking news (which I rely on exclusively now, it's good), direct messages and different leagues. Right side is the player list and then the league itself is in the middle.

Way easier to navigate and more logically organised than the NFL.com site imo

Sunday will be better for me regarding draft day but I can make Saturday work as well so will just go with the majority consensus.

@FalconSloth, Sleeper on mobile is pretty basic once you ignore the mascots. Your first page will have all your messages from people in your league on at the top (below the search bar). I'll send you a message on there so you get it. Under that is your leagues. You'll likely only have this one unless you've already joined others.

The "channels" below that is what EGF is talking about when he is talking about new feeds etc. You can customise what you want to show up there by clicking on the cog/wheel. I only have the fantasy football alerts, NFL trending stories and The fantasy footballers turned on. But you can also have a heap of others for hockey, NBA etc etc as well the Fantasy Football Chat and Fantasy Football Q&A which are on there from standard. Have a play around with it and set it up how you like.

Following that you can swipe right to left and it will take you to your league page. This is your match- up page when that is happening. It's also where you can mock draft and where you'll see the other people in our league. The bottom of this page will have scoring settings etc. This is where the mascot stuff is. If you want to know about them just PM through sleeper and I'll explain rather than cluttering this post.

Final left to right swipe will take you to the last page which has up and down trending player info (based on news coming through, 3rd party ADP's and platform users data etc). You'll find your traes tab here, your watchlist, players rankings, game scores for the week etc.

I think that's pretty much it. For desktop it's much the same. The page is split into three columns which you scroll through with basicall the same info in each of the three colums as on the three swipeable pages on the mobile app. The main thing it doesn't have is the mascots. Layout is clean and simple.

Two leagues this year? Both filled?

For L2 draft, any time saturday and before 2pm (another draft) on Sunday works for me.

I’ll take 5th, very nice. I’m good for either Saturday or Sunday so long as we can get a time sorted out reasonably quickly

10th for me... Bit late but I'd rather that over you guys that are happy to be in the middle. At least I can work the turns.

Saturday and/or Sunday should be good for me, but timing is way up in the air. I’m in GMT, so it can be tough to be able to be around for the draft.

Yeah its always hard to suit all, would love to know how many will actually be sitting in live for the draft.

How many were there last year? I think there was only 1 auto in L2.

Last year I did it on the app while "watching" the kids at Sat morning soccer. The other half was not impressed but I think I only timed out once, when getting them back in the car. So I should be right regardless of time.

Ah not sure Krump, can't recall. Just feels like its hard to tell in the lead up as hardly anyone other than a hand full are in the thread and/or app.

What's the best source to start reading up on NFL? I haven't kept up with anything and didn't follow through last year so I'm at least two years behind.

Bleacher Report is pretty good - on their app you can load your feed with teams/writers/players relevant to you. So like all your fantasy players and you’ll get notifications relevant to them only.

I would just google any related words, especially a certain players name plus fantasy 2020 etc. There are so many platforms out their with publications that it is gr8 to be able to read so many, if ur up for it. I dont have a certain publication or bible as a go to, but thats because I'm comfortable with my own summations.
Its like how u follow the Nrl, if u feel like u know some Nfl teams/Coaches etc u can throw the Nfl ADP (Annual draft position) rankings out the window imo. Make ur own calls. Or u could preset ur draft picks based on the ADP and sleep through the draft.
I love podcasts, they don't have to be spot on, just grist for the mill that gets u into an Nfl fantasy mindset. Nfl.com has a few podcasts i love - Move the Sticks, Around the Nfl and Nfl fantasy football podcast.

I'm finding some of this year's ADP rankings way off, could be a draft where there's opportunity to really pick a gr8 team from day one.

Where’s the page on sleeper to set pre-draft player rankings so the AI doesn’t do something dumb like draft me a raiders player?

Agree with this 100%. Even between platforms the ADPs are wildly different
