If you can get your hands on the Bad Shepherd Peanut Butter Porter, its one of the beers of the winter for me. So easy to drink. Only have three left in the fridge now though Sad

Have you had the Gatherer yet? I've had a couple. Nice in summer but couldn't imagine drinking it in the cold.

Yeah, had the Gatherer before. It's a very sunny 24degrees here, so the Stout is probably the least appropriate of that lot

    I hear you.

I generally put the name of the players in the forum search and look at the latest comments about that certain players. That allows me to look at the reasoning for choosing certain players or the reason for discarding. It gives me more information that a TU/TD option can ever give.

Everyone relax for a minute, last night in Ivan's press conference he was asked about resting players due to basically securing the minor prem, however he responded by saying there's no need to right now as they are lowering their training intensities so that they are fresh and ready for gameday. Also he said he wants to keep the momentum building into finals. We all g lads...

I like this approach better. Keep the momentum going, but ease of on the intensity

    Nice!

Brewtown is just few minutes drive from my place, so we are lucky in many ways. I tend to stick to IPA's, though every now then Hapi Dazes me.

    Ivan hasn't won anything.

While last two years winner Trent Robinson believes carrying a bigger squad for the finals is the way to go.

Hard to pick up a winner in this argument.

Is it bad idea to get Hoppa this week for 3rd centre and not have to play HTF? Would leave me with 2 trades

Jesus Christ Filth. I’ve already got the Soft Cock award wrapped up for eight straight. No need to throw your one annual mad as blow up in this year! It’s fruitless.

Fuck me that was brutal. And when those sorts of words come from you it’s like the hurtfulness is magnified.

2 trades is a bit risky mate. Hoppa's better than HTF, but our back-ups aren't very good back-ups if we don't use them to save trades Laughing

CTR is such a write-off anyway. Is HTF opposing Starford? Maybe can jag something passable vs. a rookie winger.

Only have Crichton and Farnworth and going to suck if Farnworth stays on the wing

Panthers have been lucky so far, haven't had the same amount of injuries as others.

There's definitely coaches who don't like resting players leading into the finals. Bellamy did it once years ago and they had a shocker first week of the finals - I'm pretty sure he hasn't rested players in the late rounds since.

Not sure what Cleary Sr's view is though

Cleary Sr's last team was the Tigers. He doesn't know anything about these "finals" you speak of

Tedesco wasnt rested last season when he won it. Could he have been rested? Easily! Was he? No, because he had a chance to win the Dally M.

If Cleary wasnt in Dally M contention, for sure he gets a rest at some point. Because he is in contention, I think the odds that they rest him are low.

Get your facts straight buddy boy before you start talking shit! Ted was rested round 14 against the Dogs. Manu filled in and scored 98. I traded Ted in that week and put the C on him and it came out Friday I believe that he wasn't playing. I also traded Lomax in who broke his thumb on Friday but couldn't reverse cause I used the money for Ted.

He was rested at origin time instead of backing up, the topic was being rested at the end of season leading into finals.

Here is the interview with Cleary where he says he isnt planning to rest players, at 4 mins in. https://www.nrl.com/tv/matches/telstra-premiership/2020/round-15/panthers-round-15/
