I have considered it mate but I need to bring Haas back in next week so one of Murray, Yeo or Lucy is gonna have to go for Haas. I think bringing Cook or Smith in would make me to thin in the second row.

Yep leaning towards Matterson now. Anyone know how many own Matterson in the top 1000?

    Matterson 190/top 1000 teams

You should be easily able to fit Haas + HOK in

    367k bank + 810k Lolo = 1177k

    1177k - CS9 = 342k bank (or Cook = 390k bank)

    920k Haas - 342k = 578k player, 530k player for Cook

I actually like Lolo to DCE and then Pearce to Haas next week (1177k - 863k = 314k bank which leaves 26k buffer on current prices) - might depend on how Lino affects Pearce KM

2019 Pearce averaged 323 KM with Lino in 11 games & averaged 41.2

Last two trades are going to be Lolo + Randall to McGuire + Dugan.

    Wish me luck.

Keep warming to Matterson. Not sure I like running both Brown and Matto, but shouldn't be an issue.

Why are you using your last trades on one of the most injury prone players in the game and a walking suspension

Pearce should be good enough to keep now. Lino coming in is a big worry for me but he looked really good last week and I expect that to continue. Would have had 80 points without the sin bin plus and extra 10 on the field. There was nothing really special in terms of his scoring either. Almost DCE like scoring that game from him last week.

Wow, nice work! Call me a gambling man.....but being that close to the overall, I'd consider rolling the dice on the last trade if you have reasonable injury cover and DPPs so you can field a 17....

I would gamble if there was a decent FRF replacement but with Haas coming back next week and I'm not too inclined to pick up someone like Klemmer rather then someone like Matterson. Thinking about it though.

Because as a Ctr he could net you a 10-20 score and that will be a bad time using a trade on that.

I can either go Lolo to Smith, field 17 and save two trades, or Lolo to Matterson and Randall to Brimson and be down to my last trade.

I know the former is probably the safer option, but if I don't get Brimson now he'll almost certainly jump out of reach this week with a low BE.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks mate.

    I’ll think about it.

If I brought Cook in for Lolo and Haas in for Pearce though it moves Hunt to half and I have no halves or hooker cover on my bench.

Lolo to DCE and Pearce to Haas though is defs something to think about.

Any advice for my team @wolfking or anyone else who can give me advice? I’m just clinging on just inside the top 500 right now. 4 trades left.

I would have thought that Cleary has McInnes pipped as best captain option. Higher (slightly) average, higher ceiling, goalkicking, more stats categories to fill his score depending on how the game goes.

Slightly off topic, but why on earth has the NRL gone back to 4pm / 6.30pm Sunday games?

When a question like this has to be asked, I can only assume the answer is money.

It would be interesting to see how the 2pm foxtel viewing numbers compare to the 6:30pm from earlier this season

I will usually sit down and watch the 2pm game. The 4pm game i'm usually listening to on the radio while I cook dinner, and the 6.30 games I don't generally watch or listen to at all because it's in the middle of wrangling kids, getting stuff ready for Monday etc.

      Current date/time is Sat Nov 23, 2024 10:28 am
