Funny how there is basically no info about Curtis Scott getting injured. Obviously not fantasy relevant.

Going to be a tricky week, I'm assuming Yeo is rested. Got 3 trades, one of those for Haas, but now another appears a dead trade on a centre. I guess if Capewell were to come in and start, that might be ideal, but there would be some concern about his match fitness.

Was there any report over the weekend on how close he was to playing on Saturday night?

Played great, made 25 tackles, none missed. While he was on the field Pearce and Mann were missing tackles and leaking tries.

Very unlucky to get penalised showing urgency to get the ball on the ground and ref claimed he stripped it when he actually had possession.

NRL Physio post on Scott says Raiders have indicated Scott no injury and he was hurt and not injured but still have to wait on scans

Initial assessment from the Raiders suggests no injury to knee/ankle for Curtis Scott, hoping “more hurt than injured”. Scott has fibula plate from fracture in 2016, if any injury video brings concern for possible fibula fracture with blow + appearance of some shift in lower leg

Was going to put the C back on Haas but then again Cleary is a tempting option.

He's not an absolute slam dunk. The Panthers smashed the Sharks back in Round 9 but he only scored 54 because he barely had to do anything. Still this is the type of game that has the potential to see him go 100+ again and I daresay a lot of other people might C him for the same reasons.

If Knights wanted a tacklebot HOK he probably would have been selected a while ago

Making 25 tackles doesn't matter if you don't win a single ruck. The reason Pearce and Mann were put in vulnerable positions was because of quick play the balls.

Contrary to popular belief in 90% of cases the person who misses the tackle isn't the issue, it's a quick play the ball or defensive structure

So the weekend that was… captained Teddy for his 112 was a gamble that paid off well. Cameron Smith was a welcome return, I was super weirded out that Fat Matt got more minutes than Twal. Hopefully Madge realises he needs to play Twal for 80 minutes. Bateman returns to fantasy form.
Possibly the first time this year my centres have both gone under 40. Cotric was a little underwhelming with a 34. Overall finished the week with 1046 (640th for the round)… which seems really short of some of the other monster scores being put up this week. Ranking improved from 119 to 75.

Finished on top of L6 with a 12-0-4 record and 3 of those losses coming in the last 5 weeks. Team should be firing into the finals with Api to return, hopefully Randall gets a bigger role and Lucy will become Haas once trades are available.

Its normal for a rookie hooker to be instructed just to tackle and play dummy half (especially when making 72 tackles in a game). In NSW cup he averaged over 50 running meters each of the last 3 seasons and has scored 5 tries.

I scraped into 7th in L11 with a demolition of The Lazy Latrells

Before deciding on whom to offload Latrell for need to see if Fui & Avo return at all.

Pretty poor weekend. 905 saw me drop 400ish ranks. As it turns out should have taken Randall's 23 in the loop over Talau.

2 scenarios for this week. If Fui's named at 2RF, I can trade Latrell to anyone under 627k. If not, I have to trade to another centre. Bunnies have 2 Friday games and 2 Thursday games, so I can't even keep him to loop Talau and Fui.

oh man, that's a low blow

1056 saw me jump nearly 500 spots, sitting just inside 600 now. Last year I got to 300 odd but then fell away at the back end of the year. This could be my best finish ever.
