    Bring in whoever YOU want.

Your other option I guess is to get a cheap spud and use the coin to maybe upgrade someone else to Haas and keep Yeo.

    PODs are great.

For 4 weeks your POD centre scores 30 whilst the guy you don't have gets 45

Then one week your POD gets 75, so you're only down 30 points on the gun option, and the 1 week of glory makes you feel like a champion.

It's probably not, but I have a feeling this could be targeted at a specific poster lol.

I'm a fan of PODs, but have come to realise that a high performing POD doesn't typically remain a POD for long.

Its not directed at anyone, just describes the sort of thought that goes through my head when people talk about PODs. Generally I'd rather get the better player instead.

    POD's are great.

Got Manu Ma'u in last year. Rocketed up the rankings. Punted on David Fifita, got 100. Had Mitchell Moses early in the year too before anyone else.

This year players like Luciano, Mann and McCullough have helped me out immensely.

You guys do you but my most successful seasons have always come about from picking the right POD's.

Apparently Kotoni Staggs, Xavier Coates and Thomas Flegler have been told they can gauge offers from other teams from November.

I just pick the players I think will score the most points. Its a simple strategy.

Who would have thought that with a month to go the two most expensive CTRs would both play for the Dragons

Doesn't sound like an amazing strategy but oh well

Well if you count Luciano and Mann as PODs this year, then I love a POD too, but I would have thought they would have been considered fairly mainstream options, especially on this forum.

McCullough probably lesser owned due to trade situation when he became available more than anything.

BTW, when I say I don't like PODs, it means I don't like picking players because of their ownership percentage. If the player you think will score best happens to also have low ownership, then go for your life.

haha, yeah I know mate, I'm just being a knob. Knew you wouldn't have done it like it if it was targeted, not your style, which I like.

Could bring in McIntyre and hope he stays in the team.

Only one thing worse than picking a CTR is picking a CTR with a 400k budget haha

Yeah but I'm guessing you picked them because you thought they would score well - and the price/circumstances were right, not because they were low ownership.

Like you didn't get Manu Ma'u because everyone else already had Taumalolo.

If anyone is looking for a cheap downgrade option to enable an upgrade e.g. buying Haas then Gosiewski could be a goer costing 229k & with J. Thompson out for the year he could start the remaining games in the 2nd row....it seems his competition for the spot is Waddell but he's more of a middle forward & Olakau'atu but he's not in the 17 this week but he is in the rerserves.

Ofa signed until end of 2023 but apparently being shopped to the Dragons.

Talk of Hunt going back to Broncos and both Dragons and Broncos going halves in his 1.2 mil contract.
