Got Manu Ma'u in last year. Rocketed up the rankings. Punted on David Fifita, got 100. Had Mitchell Moses early in the year too before anyone else.

This year players like Luciano, Mann and McCullough have helped me out immensely.

You guys do you but my most successful seasons have always come about from picking the right POD's.

    Same here my dude.

I got on Wighton very early last year and it paid off in spades. I also got Tevaga and Papalii for under 600k each last year and both of them also paid off in spades.

This year my success has been a bit more mixed, I've been burned by Hughes and Flanagan, but I have benefited a lot by punting on a couple guys recently, like Wighton and N Brown. I also got majorly burned by not getting Hunt in early enough, and only got him when I sold Haas a couple weeks ago.

Ofa signed until end of 2023 but apparently being shopped to the Dragons.

Talk of Hunt going back to Broncos and both Dragons and Broncos going halves in his 1.2 mil contract.

    Yeh, now we're talkin'.

I'd love to get Hunt back to play hooker and we are only paying half his current deal.

Hopefully he realises that is his best position!

Who ever is in charge at Broncos needs to get fired, if they are letting Staggs walk.

He still is adamant he wants to play halfback.

On the Hooking role I did also read that in McCulloughs deal he is to return to the Broncos in 2021?

Yeah but I'm guessing you picked them because you thought they would score well - and the price/circumstances were right, not because they were low ownership.

Like you didn't get Manu Ma'u because everyone else already had Taumalolo.
No one chooses a POD just because they are low ownership. They are picked as an opportunity to outscore the more popular selections.

Look I'm not saying it was a particularly smart decision.
But my centers since rd 1 haven't changed once.
    M Jennings and J Croker.
They might not be the biggest scorers but they've played every week and I haven't had to think about CTR once. I think that's saved me a lot of stress lmao

He's got a clause allowing him to play in 2021 that was signed with the Broncos. So if knights or someone else doesn't want to sign then Broncs have no choice but to take him back if he decides to enact it

I’d love to but out of range.

Plus I had the option between Hopo, Manu and a range of others a while back and yeah that didn’t go well 😂

There are certainly times when I see people talking about low ownership of players as a selling point for wanting to bring them in. It may not be the sole reason for tarding in a player, but its the sort of talk people like mtb and I don't think is useful

Except the entire discussion arose from a statement about not wanting Lomax because too many in the top 1000 have him?

Arrow in reserves and MoFo on bench. Not saying not to pick him but be wary he won't be scoring 66 at lock every week.

Thompson out for the year he could start the remaining games in the 2nd row....it seems his competition for the spot is Waddell but he's more of a middle forward & Olakau'atu but he's not in the 17 this week but he is in the rerserves.

Just on this Waddell was the one who filled in for Thompson a few weeks ago when he was out

If gives off an impression like the player is some hidden secret that most have been hiding as you scroll through the list. 9 times out of 10 they are low owned for a reason.

The problem I find is, that you take a POD say like Friz or Whigton, they score well but not going to outscore other guys that are higher owned so there's no real point. It's only injury to the popular player or some unforseen circumstance that would cause the POD to come out on top.
