Of course Herbie is named at CTR this week Rolling Eyes

There have only been 9 Ctrs who have played all 16 rounds this season:
Lomax, SCrichton, Manu, Peachey, Blake, Boyd, Hunt, Croker, MJennings

I remember Crichton coming onto the field in his first game and getting a try with his first touch of the footy.

Thanks Milch, MS and Robelgardo yeah should be good for 25-30 points at the least but plenty of upside.

    I’ve locked it in.

I now have 1 trade and 145k spare after Yeo to Haas and Latrell to Peachey, thoughts?

    McInnes
    Haas MoFo
    Lucy Matterson Murray
    Cleary Pearce
    Peachey Crichton
    Teddy Ponga Pap

    Hunt Carrigan Taupau Sironen
    Koloamatangi Hammer Randall Niu

Titans have some winnable games as well coming up, should be good for some Peachey junk points with Tackle busts.

Gee not picking up Lomax and SCrichton was clever

I still maintain that while he’s completely washed IRL, Boyd was a good fantasy pickup if you timed it right - 345k the week he went to FB

I should probably just go Latrell to Staggs/Peachy.

But I've just realised if I get Pompey/Ramien instead, I could also do Talau to Brimson. Pompey at least had great job security, the Warriors only have 20 fit players.

Down to two trades. I need to use at least one on a centre. The question is, is it worth trading out a probable red dot (Talau) to a top 17 scorer (Brimson) with my last trade. Looks pretty tempting. I would at least be in a position with Siro, HTF, and Fui as depth green dots, Randall to loop and decent cover everywhere (apart from Fui CTR cover).

    Team pre-trades:

    Spoiler:

Advice please? Anyone want to talk me out of burning that last trade?

I'm going Olam as my ctr trade-in (my limit is 445k). I'm selling Wiliame & keeping Talau. I like Olam because he runs hard & straight with a good chance of tb's, the Storm left edge is clicking so he's a good chance of tries/ta's & the Storm have a great draw in their final 4 games. Thoughts & thanks.

Couldn't you just accept that Fui, despite how little points he will get off bench is still better than trading another CTR, and go Latrell to Brimson

I'd still run Fui for a week and see how it plays out, but if you must, I like getting a cheaper centre option then using the funds to upgrade elsewhere more than spending 550K on a centre.

Olam and Fox are the in form left edge of the comp. With Rabbits, Cows, Tigers and Dragons in their next 4 I do see a lot of tries coming their way. I would almost bet at least one of them will score a try or get a TA each week for the last 4 weeks.

True, just the lack of centre cover worries me in that scenario.

I guess I could go Latrell to Brimson this week, and then if things look dire with Fui/there are no more urgent moves still afford Talau to Ramien (higher BE) next week.

That might be the play actually, thanks.

If you are looking for a WFB, Edwards is another great option. Non-injured games he has a low of 39 and an average of 53 this season. Also a great POD Razz

Problem with Olam is if he doesn't score a try, he struggles to crack 20.

Sure getting 20, 50, 20, 50 is as good as getting 35 four times (assuming no loop involved) but I think there are players with a better base also affordable

Think I'll spend my last trade getting Mbye in.

He might only last a week at fullback, but if he stays there, and retains goalkicking, a 40+ average is possible.

Think its a safer base than trying to predict which CTR is going to score a bunch of tries this month

Yeah agree with this. I'll be jumping on Hoppa this week cause he has a solid base for a centre with his meters gained and stuff. Can also bust out a big score aswell

Whoever created the league can choose the finals system and I think there about half a dozen to choose from.

In this case it looks like 4 and 5 have swapped places with the normal system

Did 4 and 5 finish on the same points? It might just be a bug in how they appear on the table depending on how the tie-breakers get applied.

I really don't know and am just guessing. I pay approximately 0 attention to H2H leagues.

That's a good point. I think the default setting is not points differential but round-robin wins in terms of who finishes higher between teams on the same points.

    LEAGUE TWO FINALS MATCH UPS:

    1. Eaglestars vs 4. McHomie
    2. The Beagles vs 3. Mulvy
    5. Aardvark vs 8. CantBeatWinners
    6. Awana Mafia vs 7. filth

Good to see three of four warriors supporting teams making it to the finals and we'll have at least two going through til next week. Very Happy (here comes the classic kiwi choke Wink Laughing  )

The Beagles vs Mulvy is match of the round for me.

The Beagles have been killing it recently, every time I think I'm having a good round I seem to get outscored
