Yes it is very very veerrrry likely Haas and clearly go large.
But if you are ranked 1000, you still will be ranked 1000 after the weekend....
With only 4 weeks left, its impossible to claw back an inch at a time.
Unless you care about personal best ranks,... then I guess, go for it. But after playing this for many years now, from my experience, I dgaf about my rank in any year, unless I am getting a prize, or at leat a chance to win.
With 4 rounds left, rank 500plus, you are not going to gain many ranks (if any) by picking the same cappy as all the others in front of you
I look at it as, I would rather have captain Cleary or Haas and hope my supporting cast can beat the supporting cast of those in front of me… hence why I have changed to captain Cleary.
I would rather myself and those in front all have a failed captain choice (cleary/Haas) rather than they captain Cleary/Haas who score 80 and then my gamble captain scores 53… except last week when I captained Teddy.
I was thinking of captaining Matterson but then I looked at it as say Cleary scores 65 points… then myself and probably 50-60% of the guys in front me also get that 65x2 from Cleary; however, my other picks like Matterson/Bateman/Fifita/Api/Smith could then outscore their opposite counterparts like Tevaga/Murray/Brown/Cook/McInnis which will be scattered throughout those teams in front of me.. and this is how you gain ranks…. Not by getting lucky and captaining someone who scores 112 points.
