Just not sure if it's sideways or if Cook is actually a plain upgrade anyway. Got $201k in the bank too.

If Yeo doesn't play, I'd probably go for it with 4 trades left mate. Not sure if you'd call it an upgrade really, Yeo has been amazing. Wish I got him. I didn't think he would keep this up.

Yeah it's a weird one. Been loving Yeo this year and honestly had no intention of parting ways with him. But I see him as a zero chance to line up this weekend and this possible trade idea fell into my lap rather than me actively seeking it out. But now that it's out there it looks kind of appealing.

4 weeks left and 4 trades. If he is your only problem this week, I think the play is to trade him.

Haha, I'm like everyone else and have problems in my centres, but just hoping to plug that hole with either Averillo or McIntyre rather than wasting more trades on it.

That said, straight swap of Talau to Hopoate has minor appeal to me too.

Early thoughts on my plans pre TLT:

3 trades and 422k spare, looking at Latrell to Peachey, no I have no centre cover but it is what it is and Yeo to Haas.

Leaves me with 1 trade left and 145k spare and the following:

    McInnes
    Haas MoFo
    Lucy Matterson Murray
    Cleary Pearce
    Peachey Crichton
    Teddy Ponga Pap

    Hunt Carrigan Taupau Sironen
    Koloamatangi Randall Hammer Niu

    Thoughts please?

If you’ve no other issues I’d trade out Yeo with 4 trades left.

With 4 trades left if Yeo misses a week I'd pull the trigger on an upgrade. 4 games of Cook easily out scores 3 games of Yeo+18th man

Doesn't hurt your bank or remaining trades too hard

I'd like to echo @JSJSJSJ from the previous thread and thank everyone at the forum for their help this season. Started a round late ranked at 79k and have slowly clawed it back to be placed at 23k now.

Special mention to @mulvy for nursing me at his ample bosom the first couple of weeks.

I too am well and truly hooked and already looking forward to next season Excited

The bookies should run a bet on whether TPJ will adhere to all the conditions.

I follow about 3 footballers on instagram but one of them is/was Pangai. He has 'quit' and come back a few months later 4 or 5 times in the last few years.

If he is serious about staying then he shouldn't have too much trouble, given it seems like he has already wanted off it of is own accord.

I'll almost certainly do Yeo to Haas. Purely speculation but I wouldn't be surprised if he has two weeks rest.

It means Pearce+Fogarty remain in my 17 for the rest of the season. They're a bit hit and miss but gotta try ride my luck now I guess.

Funnily enough, when I was considering how I'd get Haas back, I did consider Yeo as an alternative to Pearce/Fog.. just thought he might get rested/less mins in the run home to freshen up.

I'm sure TLT will throw a curveball though.

@Teeth Eater , Wolfie, MS, MTB's advice makes perfect sense from an overall perspective. Just to throw in a H2H view if Yeo is out. 3 trades left for 2 or 3 matches is probably ok, but you want to make sure you have at least one left for the GF if you make it.

Does your opponent have Yeo? With a strong 18th man? Any other holes he has to fill eg Latrell or Talau at CTR? Any idea how many trades he might have left/be prepared to use? Does he lurk on here? Suspect

Thanks for the input all. Much appreciated.

MTB, I was thinking this too, that Yeo might actually get a couple of weeks rest. I think it's one of the major reasons this possible trade has gained such traction for me.

MS also makes a lot of sense about how many points Yeo vs Cook will score over the next 4 weeks.

Yeah mate, I'm being relatively tight with trades because I live in fear of making it to the H2H GF (still a long way to go for that) and then seeing Cleary get rested that week. Would completely blow the whole thing up if I didn't have a trade left to accomodate that.

All this said, I went out in the semi final last year with two trades in my pocket and man did that hurt.

Anyway, my opponent doesn't have Yeo and him being out creates a significant disadvantage for me. He has Latrell but, like me, two bottom feeder centres he can use to fill in - both significantly better than my Talau. He also has 4 trades left but he's more focused on getting Haas in. I think he'll use at least one trade this week, if only to get Haas in. And I don't think he lurks here, but you never know. I do get paranoid about that sometimes, lol.

He's outscored me over the last two weeks, but I was missing Haas for those two weeks and played Talau last week, so we're evenly matched. Having Yeo out would make it slightly unevenly matched.

Based on all y'all's much appreciated good advice... and pending TLT, I think I'm going to pull the trigger on this trade. Smile Thanks for the input, chaps.

I don't understand the appeal of Hopoate? Bulldogs are absolutely mud and Hoppoate is so out of form this year. I'd rather J moz as all the roosters come back and we start firing again. Only issue is I see us going to the right a lot more when Crichton comes back.

Who would you pick as centre under 523k?

Was looking forward to having the trio of Haas, Mofo and Munster back.

Then Munsters 38 happened and yeah not overly keen on the improvements haha

For me this is very TLT dependant.
Fuimaono, McIntyre are both options if starting 2RF.
    Otherwise I like Hopoate.
As you say the dogs are mud and he’s not in good form, but he’s only had 2 games back from injury and he certainly has a history of scoring well.
I haven’t looked at Morris due to his risk of injury.
For only 4K more than 523k I like Crichton as the best option.

    Don't laugh but Brian Kelly @ 521k

Only 4 rounds left, so basically just pick a CTR who: won't be rested, has some attacking upside, can get 20-30 without try

Titans have super easy draw to finish with Dogs, Broncos, Sea Eagles, Knights whose edges suck defensively at the moment

Long story short. Broncos are terminating his contract but the termination is suspended for 12 months. If he is a good boy over the next 12 months then he keeps his contract

They are making him get a real job which will be organised by a club approved mentor for the rest of the year. Haha wow

So he won't play next year?
