    Just to clarify, is this all bench... like you have 3 better WFB than Papy and Brimson?

    If the next Broncos Coach (Walters) can somehow hone in on TPJ's aggression and get him to stop being a fuckwit then they really have a diamond in the rough there. There are a lot of great youth coming through the club, That are going through immense turmoil and what I imagine to be an extremely difficult time for all these early 20 somethings, that majority of them have probably played under 50 NRL games being targeted by the media week in week out and expected to just turn around their performance overnight. Their most capped player is a has been with no heart and they have huge expectations on their shoulder every time they pull on a Broncos jersey. If this young side can stay together and the Broncos recruitment can add a few older heads in some key positions just to sprinkle some wisdom here and their then by the time these older heads have moved on those players will have 50-100 games under their belt and primed for a premiership…

    I can’t remember who it was a couple weeks ago but an old Broncos face in the media said that these young boys like Flegler, Carrigan, Kennedy, Haas, etc. would normally have blokes like Webcke, Parker, Thaiday coming to trainings once or twice a week to just give some advice and what not to the club but with Covid this has not been able to happen.

    TL;DR I feel bad for the Broncos, they are a young inexperienced side with the media in their face 24/7. I expect in 2-3 years once these players have 50+ games under their belt they’ll be a great side.

    Start Starling if named at Hooker again, if not start Brimson. Loop Pap and the other one and drop Sironen.

    So I can potentially sort my CTRs and keep Talua... No

    L. Mitchell + H. Young -> Lomax + Staggs/Capewell (If named)

    It will give me the following team with two trades.

    HOK: B. Hunt
    FRF: P. Haas, M. Taupau
    2RF: A. Twal, D. Fifita, P. Carrigan
    HLF: N. Cleary, D. Cherry-Evans
    CTR: Z. Lomax, K. Capewell
    WFB: J. Tedesco, K. Ponga, R. Papenhyuzen

    INT: M. Moses, T. Starling, K. Mann, I. Yeo (Possibly out this week.)

    EMG: T. Eisenhuth, J. Averillo, T. Talau, C. Randall

    Trades: 4

    Which means Eisenhuth is my only "reliable" 18th man.

    Cook, McInnes, Smith, Matterson some of the big misses for the team which sucks.

    Alternative trades are

    Latrell & Talau -> Capewell/Staggs + Mbye/McIntyre/Hiku/Pompey

    Long story short. Broncos are terminating his contract but the termination is suspended for 12 months. If he is a good boy over the next 12 months then he keeps his contract

    They are making him get a real job which will be organised by a club approved mentor for the rest of the year. Haha wow

    I thought maybe D Lock Industries need a new part time casual employee. Funnily enough it pays $1,800 an hour. Funnily enough, they just won the tender to clean the Broncos training facilites for the next 12 months.

    Maybe TPJ can work for that tyre place & they can call him Tyre Pangai Junior. It also bans him from using social media....I don't know if he a big user of social media but if he is it will very hard for him not to use it.
    The bookies should run a bet on whether TPJ will adhere to all the conditions.

    Sorry doods, not really down with the discussions had so far and I never like to start speculating until after TLT, but curious if there's any chat of parting ways with Yeo if he's in your team? My main consideration is H2H and I was going to hold him this weekend as I have two cracks at the opening week/s, but then I started thinking, why not aim for the week off and dump Yeo for Cook/Fifita/Bateman?

    I should add that my team is also ranked 379 so I'd kind of like to keep chipping away at that too.

    If I dumped Yeo, then McInnes takes his place in the second row and I bring in Cook as my starting hooker going forward. I still have Carrigan for FRF/2RF cover.

    I was considering Fifita or Bateman initially, but I actually had no idea Cook was so cheap (haven't been overly interested, perhaps foolishly).

    Anyway, is it silly to contemplate dumping Yeo, if he's only out for a week?

    Oh yeah, forgot to mention. 4 left.

    Just not sure if it's sideways or if Cook is actually a plain upgrade anyway. Got $201k in the bank too.
