15-19 will be made up of Carrigan, Napa, Horse, Tino, Welch, Kerr, Collins.

Problem is it's 3 Origin games in 3 weeks. If QLD cop injury (in backline especially) they don't have much depth, whereas NSW probably have depth for 2-3 teams

Jordan Riki has been cited for a Grade 1 Crusher Tackle on Nathan Cleary in the 55th minute, carrying a two-match ban if found guilty or a one-match sanction with an early plea.

    Ridiculous..

WOW!!! The Raptors were down 103-101 With 0.5 seconds left on the clock staring down the barrel of a 3-0 lead to the Celtics. Lowry inbounds the ball to OG who nails the dagger corner 3 to end it 104-103 and claw back to a 2-1 series.

I am shattered!!! C’s should be up 3-0…

I thought that was an actual crusher where the defender is truly at fault unlike some of the ones where the attacker backs into the defender

I can't help but wonder if Payten was even remotely on the Cowboys radar as a replacement coach a month before Green was sacked?

Obviously a 5-5 record is pretty good for coaching the Warriors under the circumstances, and I assume he interviews well.

I suppose three years is the minimum you need to get your teeth into a squad to show what you can do? (seems like a pretty decent roster that the Cowboys have)

He was an assistant there previously.

I could be wrong but I thought there was talk about Payten going back before the pin was finally pulled on Green

Payten prob isn't a bad choice  with his previous coaching involvement there.

I like it. He seems to be getting the best out of the Warriors. He has won a premiership as a player (Tigers ’05), a premiership as an assistant coach (Cowboys ’15) and seems like a pretty straightforward dude. Has the roster and with Cooper, Asiata, Hampton, Opacic all set to leave the club at years end plus having Scott, Bolton and JT all recently retiring he should have the $$$ to build a decent team up here. Watch this space.

Yeah, I re-watched it just now.
Nathan Clearly puts himself in that position ducking his head under Riki's armpit.
Riki to his credit doesn't drop his weight or anything, and just braces the tackle.
Maybe Riki should've just let go of him 5m out from the try line...
    No charge, play on IMO.

Agree, I like him, it just makes me wonder about the fickle nature of boards sometimes.
I didn't realise he's been assistant coach up there, so I guess they already have some good knowledge about him and what he brings.
I hope it's a good appointment for all

I'm slightly annoyed with SCrichton's fantasy output the last 2 games. I traded him in for a 27 and a 19 pointer. No

That would make good sense. I hadn't realised the background he had there.
It looks like something needed to change at the Cowboys, and if nothing else, he looks like he's pretty comfortable in an NRL coaches seat (with all that entails).
