For sure, but there is more than that too. Clubs need to get their rosters sorted. If Smith was going to turn up at the Broncos or Titans for one year they'd want that announced ASAP so they can sell memberships/get promo material made up.

I guess Smith is above all that and any club will bend to what he wants.

I'm still convicned he has finished up.

His dad was interviewed late last year saying Smith has played his last game for Melbourne.

Reports are he is moving up to the GC...

Dogs prices match predictions, except for Chris Smith, who's been given a further discount on predicted $321k to be listed at $299k

Minimum prices are $228 for rookies, and $246k for guys who have played before

Stimson at $246k will suck me in for sure if he is anywhere near a starting spot.

Doggies seem more fantasy relevant if Lewis doesn't play. Flanno gets KM and Averillo becomes a good CTR option. Will be interesting to see how they line up

Five DPP's out of 52 players by my count (three of which are CTR/WFB).

Definitely looking like it will be slim pickings for DPP's that aren't backs - it probably further validates how much having Locks grouped with Props makes more sense (even if it will make cover a bit harder in Fantasy)

Waddell at 430K on the Edge is tempting if he can find a spot to start the year... Allans at 416K will suck me in. I love me WFB's in the 400K mark.

I think the forward pack is a bit too unknown at this stage... Tolman and Sue gone so there is some minutes available in the middle. One edge spot up for grabs.

I prefer it harder... I think it may make for more diverse teams across the board

There's no spot on edge, it'd be RFM & Jackson. Elliot fit again so likely lock

Middle definitely interesting, especially as Thompson is suspended for first month after eye gouge on Tamou in R20 of 2020

I think Hetho would be a good chance of starting prop, even when Thompson is back. Big suspension risk though..

Even if not starting he'll be one for big minutes.

Napa might suck me in as someone different to start with. Had some good games as i recall last year

    try a hard refresh (CTRL + F5)

currently fixing up some bits and pieces with player display so may be some funny business going on.

Should be able to filter games by regular season/finals/origin now (though i do only have finals/origin stats in there for 2020, not previous years)

    Hey MTB,

Not sure if this is something you have been looking into, or if it would be really relevant to anyone, but I was thinking about some sort of screen where you can compare a couple players?

Pretty much the exact same as the player stats screen but where you could have two players side by side where you could compare stats, etc.

Might help when deciding between Host or Lawrie?

something that I've intended to do but not got around to. Not sure of the best way to lay it out, a simple way would just have a little tabbed section acoss the top for selected players.

21 is a very thin squad size with so few DPPs.

On the other hand, having the cap stay the same but with a lower MN makes it easier to find value. Based on the two teams released so far, feels like it will be culling players to make a squad. Whereas last season it felt like having to find players you don't really want to fill a 21.

I'm going to try super hard to not even look at this seriously for at least 6 more weeks though.

Like a way you can store each window as a tab and you just click between the different tabs?

Probably would be the easiest if you want to select a few to compare.

Season is still 2 months away, I don't normally start putting teams together until 2 weeks out. Just gets too messy otherwise. Plus I like seeing where other peoples thoughts are at first.
