Thoughts on Cleary, can he keep up his 72 point average or even a 67-70 points average and is he just a set and forget captain?....

Have to decide whether to start with Cleary or Moses....

If I go with Cleary then have to figure out how to fit in guys like Lolo, Angus and Cook as well...... not sure I can fit 4 top guns in......

Doueihi was a 5/8 who could play a little FB. Mbye is a jack of all trades and master of none -the perfect 14.

What’s wrong with the Tigers finally taking advantage of other team’s stupidity?

I think you can get perhsps 4 guns in okay with the value that will be available elsewhere. Who are your first three picked? I’d say Cleary, Teddy, and Angus.

Cleary and Angus, I’m not sure on the third one.

I generally don’t start with Teddy and the last 2 seasons I’ve still managed to pick him up ok, probs Lolo though at this stage I’m leaning towards.

Munster also looks good value if I opted to not start with Cleary.

Now that the NRL players have all taken a pay cut and the salary cap has decreased, does anyone think the salary cap for fantasy will be decreased to match? or is it too late because of the fixed player prices?

Nah. It's not like it has an impact on the game. It's not that relative to make a difference.

@my tv broke Is there any way you could implement feature on your website so you could quickly select/deselect particular rounds so just that average is included (similar to mins function) for particular player to make it easier to find: average after 6 again, average for half without other half partner etc

    I’ve changed my mind.

Has anywhere said the salary cap for this season? If it hasn’t been specified I reckon they could drop it... there’s been no rise to base prices, players are cheaper on a pts per $ basis, there’s been no taxes. So they could still drop the cap and the game would be easier to start than last season anyway.

    It’s not likely but I’m saying there’s a chance

Wouldn't the prices for players be somewhat devised based on a specific cap in mind? I don't really follow how it works so maybe I'm way off.

It is sort of mentioned in first article about rule changes that it's 9.8m cap https://www.nrl.com/news/2021/01/11/intercepts-strips--more-whats-new-for-nrl-fantasy-in-2021/

".......while staying under the league's $9.8million salary cap."

Can't believe this chat from St George thinking of ditching one Mac for an older shiter Mac. He was a lock for my fantasy MID and now I'm thinking he is no guarantee for 80 under this new coach even if he stays. As a Broncs fan that's great if we can let Macca go and free up some much needed cap space. Just on that all I hear is the Broncos have no wiggle room in their cap. Seriously, who are they paying the money too geez!

Agree re McInnes I thought exactly that today. He may not get 80 this year and may be pulled off early or for a spell.

If he’s not happy at St George either it could affect his performance.

I think I’ll save 115-120k and start with Cook.
