Just looking into the halves situation. Are you guys leaning towards two halves in the 600-800 bracket, or one gun one 350-500k type situation. Struggling to see any decent value halves under the 550k mark myself, maybe CHT

Currently have Munster and Brooks penciled in, with Lachlan Lam as cover assuming he starts

it is shaping up to be a year where a lot of players burn trades early on cash cows. people will waste a lot of trades because the guy they started with scored a 20 in round 1, so they punt him for someone else only to regret that trade a few weeks later.

    That's... every year?

My worst skill in fantasy is knowing when to cut bait on duds. I held Stimson and Aekins way too long last year because their past numbers looked alright

That said it would take something extraordinary for me to cut on a player after a single game

Yeah for sure, there is obviously a balance. As a whole though, fantasy players are terribly impatient.

Last year I held Williams and Levi for too long, year before Edwards and probably others. That said, at the time there weren't obvious (straight swap) replacements so it was better to wait a week or two (and then guys like Fogarty popped up)

I am very tempted to take a very left field pick away from the Munster’s, Cleary’s and Moses’s and go with Fogarty at 666K. I think he is priced just slightly under 50 points and if we take out his first two games (getting into first grade) his average is 52. Now Fogarty still had a few games under 40 and under 30 last year… Possibly a bit of inconsistency for the youngblood. Now with a full year under his belt, another pre-season knowing he is the halfback and possibly a bigger role this year, with so much talent around him he could see a decent increase in attacking possibilities.

300K cheaper than Cleary, 100K cheaper than Moses and just cheaper than Munster, I think Fogarty can easily push up to around 50-55 a game and be a pretty big POD… he also has 6 games above 60, with a 70 and an 81 thrown in there so his ceiling is pretty high.

    One to ponder I guess.

If the Titans go as well as expected then Fogarty should be a good pick.

Why would Souths want to do that? Good luck to him!

Was apparently available cheap. Hard to find a guy with his experience who will be fine with taking a back seat to Walker and Reynolds, and able to step in if either of them go down.

God getting into it, reminded me of those old gamefaq "cheats" that were always like go to an obscure location, tap on this wall 12 times and then run to the other side of the map and you can unlock the chicken rocket launcher

Who's the other half for Tigers besides Brooks then? Reynolds is gone. Billy W? Or do they have someone else? Wait, Mbye, Doueihi?
