Yeah, Grevsmuhl also on my trade in list.

I think I've brought him in for Supercoach. But JNik - Parcell is a now or never deal I think with the current pricing as good as it will get.

That leaves one of BLaw or Grevs for the other spot

I'm hoping for Tohu to hit my centres in the coming weeks. Just want to wait to make sure he isn't going to spend much time as an actual centre with current storm lineup.

Yes, Bellamy has been whinging about the Storm's three-quarter depth, so I'd stay clear until that gets resolved. Once it does Tohu should be a bargain.

Can someone with Assistant Coach tell me what BLaw and Grevs' BE and projected cash increase is? (paypal is not working for me...)

    BLaw - 8 , +28K
    Grevs - 6 , +25K .... give or take a bit for fudge factor.

Thanks. Feel like it's important to get on the first price rise for both. Grevs looks to have moved above Carter in the pecking order. Job is his to lose, at least until Sutton is back?

    I disagree
There is no point being in front at this time of year, just aim to be not too far behind and conserve trades for a big finish.
If Lawrence ($184,200) stays fit and keeps his starting position, he will make more coin for later updates than JTurbo ($425,600)
and you will have about $240,000 to spend elsewhere !!

I've never been that close to the leaders to have to make the hard decisions under pressure. No doubt certainly a finer line when you are at the top of the rankings between staying there points wise and generating the cash for longevity. Agree with you however on this particular example, not sold on JTurbo personally.

I'm planning to trade in B.Lawrence this week, but I'm not sure who to trade out.

The options in my order of preference are:

1/ B.Henry (gone for the season, 160k doing nothing)
2/ P.Carter (out of favour, but with BE = 11 isnt going to lose money yet)
3/ B.Cartwright (extent of injury uncertain, so thinking of holding him for now)

    What do you guys think?

I reckon JTurbo is a solid keeper but see both sides just wish I knew what Barrett intends to do with them both??? I have never been this close either always have been slowly slowly catchy monkey, I know there is a hell of a long way to go yet and a lot more injuries to follow plus the bye rounds to come , really appreciate the input though - cheers.

Carter well capable of getting onto the bench and missing 4 tackles in a 20 minute spell a few ball drops and giving you a score of 3

but I like the first option mate, getting rid of a red spot for someone who will make some decent coin whilst providing some solid scoring seems like a good trade to me

I went Carter - BLaw but only because I have an extra round to make money on Saifiti

    Thanks for the feedback Welshy.

I agree that Carter is a concern, but there is a chance he might bounce back. I'm thinking it might be worth taking the risk on him, and seeing what happens with him over the next couple of weeks.

P.S. I'm planning to keep J.Saifiti for a while. He looks good to me and I'm hoping his scores will improve as he gets more comfortable as a regular first-grader. I have other players who need to go before him.

Henry. Get rid of that red dot. Theres plenty more to come. I have a few more than id like. Carter is on the cusp of making you a bit more cash and unless you hear something solid on Carty hes a hold

Only problem with Saifiti is the probable bench gig when Tariq Sims returns next week mate

Thanks BB. Thats exactly how I was thinking. But quite a few people seem to be in a rush to get rid of Carter (and even Cartwright) so I was starting to wonder if I was on the right track.

I have 5 red dots BEFORE this weeks trades (DOESNT include Carter or Carty) and I DONT want too many of those heading into the Origin period.

Its a fair point. And I haven't been in AR's situation at this stage of the year. The year I finished high I conserved my trades and made cash, and came home with a wet sail after origin. But I was never really in it for the prizes. So if I had the chance again, I'd probably be a bit more aggressive with my trades.

For full disclosure I already have JTurbo and will probably trade in BLawrence this week. So I just need to work out what to do with my front row when Manly have their two byes. My hope is that JTurbo will be a keeper and I figure its always better to bring them in sooner rather than later.

This is my hope too, wanted him last week but was $800 short so this week it is and I see him as a keeper.

I got 5 aswell including Peats. Im happy with 3 red dots as it gives me a few options to use the loophole, as it allows my vice to play a later game with a few red dots there. I dont want 5 though still need your non players making cash if possible

So I assume you are going to wait for the official team list before you make the decision on whether to trade in JTurbo or BLaw. Yes?
