    Is J Brailey a must-have?

You'd probably be brave to go without, but if you go Gun HOK + Liddle + Watson + Brailey it throws the balance off a little.

His long-term average at is 39.4 in 40+ mins, priced at 31. That goes to 44 in 70+ minutes, but even then he's gone under 40 (7) more often than over 50 (5), string a few 35s together to start the season and his price takes a long time to go anywhere useful. I just get the feeling he'll be similar to his brother last year...

Ideally for the sake of coverage I'd a bench of:

    Liddle
    Watson
    ~450k DPP Mid/EDG (BMM/Gilbert/Ford)
    ~450k HLF (Lam/Townsend/CHT/Milf/Morgan)

    Niu DPP CTR/WFB in EMG

With Brailey, HLF coverage probably has to be Moylan/Averillo/Schuster if starting instead.

One thing you have to note with Brailey is his scores haven’t been boosted by 6 again rule as did ACL in R2 last year. Given news is he’s playing 80 he seems like must pick

There’s no way he goes from missing almost the whole year to being fit for start of season unless he’s taking steroids or has moved to Raiders

Warriors asst said lawton is out long term on the TK podcast. He said they want Egan to play 80 and someone like bayley sironen could fill in there at a pinch (as in they wont actually carry a second hooker in the 17)

Has everyone put aside one trade (out) for Liddle?

There's a real sick note feel to a large % of this years bargain buys.

Just went back over the rules and looks like trades stay at 34 (pending any further news).

If he's named as a bench forward R1 I'd be tempted. Probs better scoring prospects than most 310k wingers.

Last season I talked him up here for days when he was named as a bench forward, only to reverse just before the deadline, then during the game he got split in half with that terrible looking (but ultimately not that bad) injury. That's the only time I felt bad for having an opinion on these forums - in the unlikely event anyone listened to me, they got screwed and I'd bailed like a coward.

I got screwed but it's not your fault, I make my own decisions. And by that I mean, I do what MS says......

Religious institutions don't pay tax, I'm sure there's no reason at all for people who enjoy money and the power it brings to keep banging the religious drum. Money, power and control all wrapped up in a lovely little story.

how bad of an idea is it to run liddle & simpkin ? i got stuck on the grant and walters thing before the start of last year went with the popular idea of one or the other and think I wasted a couple of trades in the whole ordeal im only tempted by this idea because simpkin is one of very few 228k options that has a chance to make it this year (at this stage ) that i can see and im guessing a cow will come a long at some stage i could swap for if need be frees up a bit more cash to stack a bit harder at the start of year

That’s funny- I actually thought of you when I saw that, thinking it’s probably the better sleeper cow for you than your Suaalii pick and you should jump on Walker instead

This is the dilemma I have. I think I wanna start with Cook, but then carrying Brailey, Liddle and Watson on the bench is that too much...... probs is if I want a third half then maybe I have to pass on Liddle. Alternatively I could have Averillo in my emergencies but not sure how good his job security is?......

Weird choice for a club that has Croft, Dearden, Milf, Turpin, Macca all probably ahead of him and Paix there as well.

Maybe he gets some favourable treatment from dad. Looks likely that Macca has a foot out the door already.

While the Dragons did enquire about signing Folau, the club can confirm that such discussions have now ceased.
