The big news there is Williams in the junior development team, no idea how he would play 6, looks like a plodder playing lock.

Some famous last names in that team, Raper, Dykes, Iro, I assume they are all related to the famous dads / uncles.

not sure if this is a joke, but its a different jack williams

Not that much to see here:

I don't know if it means they're guaranteed to be outside 17 but in all likelihood they will be

This trial is only for players who played <12 games last year

Apparently Pele has got big wraps on him, and is prime for making a joke about Pele racking up stats in a friendly like the famous Pele

Mccullough has asked for an extension or immediate release to Dragons. Broncos holding out on a release which suggests to me they want to find a decent backup for Turps first. Source C Garry

Will the Broncos 2013 spine be as good in 2021?!

Tune into the Dragons to find out!

The bet lasted the season, not the punishment. I even clarified at the time that when you mentioned season it was for the remainder of the season, not from the start.

No the bet lasted the season because it was based on seasonal average, which is only decided at the end of season. Punishment was for following season or might have been dropped down to pre season

I mean it seems pretty feasible I would make a bet lasting a season and the punishment a week Laughing

But you are obviously not going to do it, can't say I'm not surprised. Carry on, it's done

I suspect they wanted to get the billy walters deal sorted before letting go of macca, but thats just me putting two and two together.

Sort of frustrating the father son thing as people will see it as a bad move, but i think billy is actually good enough to be a viable #2 hooker, whereas Paix hasnt really shown too much (altho hard to in that side last year)

Turpin no chance of playing 80 and sustaining?

Id hope Turpin can work up to that, but more just cover for injury/suspension. Not ideal to have fuck all hooker depth for any club.

I hope they sort it out.

It should be like the actor's union where they have to change their name if there's already one of them.

I think the Sharks normally list him as Jack A Williams... not sure if union mandated

Well Fantasy have conveniently called one of them "Jack A Williams"

Unfortunately the Sharks aren't following suit with their team lists.

Just wait until both Jack Williams play first grade together.

On related notes. Daine Laurie is the 2nd Daine Laurie to play for the Tigers. and one of the super league clubs (London?) used to have 2 Julian O'Neills playing for them at the same time.

SC must have thought the current Daine Laurie was the past Daine Laurie, as he was a WFB/FRF DPP last year

You'd be a pretty unique athlete if your specialist positions were Prop and Wing. Maybe Mr Oates could move even further into the middle.

I guess Jack Bird could've achieved it had he been able to play fullback last year, and was then selected at lock this year

It'll make it hard to have a "there's only one Daine Laurie" chant. (Which reminds me, Scottish football fans used to sing "there's only two Andy Gorams" at the Rangers goalkeeper after he was diagnosed with schizophrenia.)

Also Michael Keaton's real name is Michael Douglas.

That's all the trivia I have for now.

SST was at one point listed as a wing (DPP with 2RF) but played as a bench middle that season.

I reckon Haas would actually go well on the wing, though would obviously be wasted out there.
