    Rip Laurie Sad

    Maguire on Mbye

‘He’s trained exclusively at 1 this pre season and has been ultra impressive. Is combining well with the rest of the spine’

Is he a chance to play 9?

‘No. Liddle and Simpkins have their bodies right and are ready for full time NRL’

If it’s Oates and you start with him as your 3rd WFB issue is by round 3  it could be Riki starting.....

Pre-season talk from Oates makes it seem like he is going to get the nod as he is talking about directly slotting into Fifita's role.

Since Gilbert was injured I have heard that Gilbert was training exclusively as a middle.

Edge was always between Hess, Hola, Wright and Dunn. Looks like Hess and Hola will be the preferred edges which makes Hola an auto pick.

Funny/awkward story for me re Lost Prophets. I am thanked (I built/ran a punk/hardcore/metal website back in the early 2000's) in the liner notes of the first album... by the singer.

Never actually met the dude. Did have a chat with some of the other members at big day out, many many years ago though.

Couldn't listen to them again after all that shit came out though. tbh i forgot the band existed.

Hopefully Laurie gets his chance is about round 5. Would be a nice cash out for someone like Moylan/Hoy.

Also if Liddle and Simpkins are gonna share minutes what sort of split do you see them doing? Simpkins has big wraps

Always thought Hola was a good shot after his comments late last year about Payten specifically wanting him to play 2nd row this season. Seemed too specific to not end up getting the nod.

Doesn't mean much come TLT but if he is named there, I think he'd be a good chance to keep the position for a reasonable amount of time. Not as if a shock decision before round 1 to start him there, then he's gone next week.

I don't know if its that clear cut. The problem is Oates had been injured for the last month or so, so at training it was Riki + Glenn starting edges. I think Oates is back to full training now.

I'm pretty sure Kevy is a big fan of Oates (like Macca), so he will probably get it..

The rotations are already worrying me from a Broncos fanpoint. I don't think I'm confident in any of the pack playing 80 mins. Glenn will probably have to..

Also right edge Oates Milford Niu Coates. YIIKES

    Love me a draft:

    Grant
    Ford, Watson, Hola
    DFifita, Waddell
    Cleary, Lam
    Aitken, Kelly
    Tedesco, Turbo, Isaako

    Brailey, Davey, Blore, Milford

    Liddle, Kolomatangi, Niu, Laurie

Very weak mids but can't decide on guns with Hass and McInnes out and Lolo reduced minutes.
Will wait and watch Harris and Crichton.

Oates at WFB when starting 2RF would be pretty tempting. scores of 40 when priced ta 23 probably even meets the mattnz seal of approval. But how good would his job security be?

I'd like extra points or trades for never having had Gilbert or Laurie in any of my drafts.

I haven't even thought about, let alone put together a team as yet.
    Advantage or disadvantage ?
