Given the price difference, Leniu would have to score five points better just to stay even in that decision.

I'm open to suggestions for the one player from each team I should target.
Obviously, Cleary for Panthers, or go with Yeo and play C roulette?
DFifi for Titans (or do we run Tino??)
Grant, Pappy or Munster from the Storm?
Ponga, Watson, JBrailey for the Knights?
DCE, Davey, Turbo or someone else at Manly?
    Bird, Macca, Ford for Dragons?
Cook, ARey, Koala for the Bunnies
Haas should be a lock for Donkeys, but a cheap Milf, or Oates on the Edge, Riki, Isaako or Niu??
    Teddy, Lam, Angus for Roosters
Lolo, Gilbert, Hola, Val, Robinson at the Cows?
BMM, LAM, Tohu, Egan, CHT, RTS, Blore from the Warriors
Who do I pick from the Dogs?
Raiders? Big Pappa, Curtis, Hodgson, Simonsson?
Brooks, Twal, Laurie, Roberts, Liddle at the Tigers?
    Eels - Brown, Matters, DBrown??
Finally, who do I pick at the Sharks? Moylan? S-J? Rudolf? AFifi (coconut move)  lol!

Don't be shy, which left of field selection can I make to build a team that follows the rules?

    Broncos - Niu
    Cowboys - Hola
    Dragons - Ford
    Sharks - Connor Tracey
    Roosters - Teddy/Lam
    Panthers - Cleary
    Storm - Grant
    Sea Eagles - Tommy Turbo/Davey
    Tigers - Blore/Liddle
    Rabbitohs - Koloamatangi
    Warriors - Aitken/Egan
    Titans - DFifita/Kelly
    Raiders - Simonsson
    Eels - Not sure
    Knights - Watson/JBrailey
    Bulldogs - Waddell

This is my 21 at present but no Eels.

Chances Roosters lose a couple and Lam gets dropped?

I wouldn't be treating Lam as a season keeper, every chance Walker get some games this year. I'm confident he'll get enough of a go to score some points and make money.

Most stuff seems to suggest Walker isn't ready for first grade yet, but will get a go at some point

There are players pushing for every spot in every side. There are always plenty of pre-season fluff articles about talented kids but you gotta be careful how much credit you give them.

Leaving Cook out gets me a team that I'm pretty happy with (for the time being):

    Brailey
    JFH, Tino, LAM
    Fifita, BMM
    Cleary(C), Munster
    Bird, Niu*
    Tedesco, Brimson, TTrbo

    Lam, Watson, Riki/Oates*, Liddle
Blore, Hola, Feagai, Lindsay Smith (or any 228k picked rd1)

Current thinking with fuck all back cover and a few players bracketed depending on TLT or which way the wind's blowing

    Cook
    SST, Tino, Watson
    Difita, Davey/Riki
    Cleary, Lam
    Roberts, Niu
    Ted, Turbo, Moylan/Oates/Hoy

    Brailey, Liddle, Milford, Koala/LAM/Lodge

    Hetho/Leniu/Poasa, Blore, Hola, Simonssen

Whichever of the cows are misfiring can become another centre if I need one through injury. Not seeing any value in that position whatsoever beyond the two I've picked (plus Bird if he starts and Averillo if he comes back)

Any thoughts on Joe Tapine as someone who could push up to Gun level?

    Was a standout at Lock over the backend of last year;
Averaged 62.1 across 7 games (including 3 finals games) from 52.6 minutes.
That run included 3 tries and two games where he managed 9TB's (from memory he probably picked up about 6TBs just with one of those tries!).

I think I may have already talked myself out of it as he'll probably settle in the 50's somewhere.

Anyway, priced at 49, and while Horsburgh might be a threat once he returns from club-imposed suspension, it seems likely that it's Tapine's spot to lose.

Had a good look at JFH, thought he had gone closer to 60 previously. Over 60 minutes and his average is 60. 54 last season under same circumstances. If he gets those BIG minutes all season with no Tamou he is value

I'm semi-interested. His scores are Tolmanesque in their all-baseness but he seems like he should be breaking more tackles than he does and comes *so close* to scoring tries.

Definitely one people will be buying pre-byes.

James, Horse, CHN, Young, Soliola, Papalii, Lui, Guler, Tapine, Havili and Sutton all are capable of being anywhere from 9-17 and with forward minutes to go around for all of them. I think I am avoiding anyone forward in the Raiders pack unless some concrete minutes come about.

Could go SST for 10k more, but my feeling is that JFH plays big minutes with both Tamou and Tetevano gone.

Used to be a MT machine on edge, makes up for that with extra workload in the middle and easier tackle chances. Love his effort, suffers from the Rudolph MT bounce offs as well which is always contentious. If he maintains those huge minutes he’s a great pick as an undervalued gun. Missing his DPP this season which is annoying

Just read that Eli Katoa fractured his eye socket at training (apologies if it's already been mentioned). Would Bailey Sironen be the one to gain from that?

Seen Tauk appearing in a few teams, both have huge averages playing over 60 minutes. Tauk always seems to finish season around the same though.

Maybe a good time to mention the thread for Fanatics meet up - planned for 2021 Magic Round in Brisbane.

Possibly, but could be BMM. Think both would have been bench behind Tohu/Katoa, so whichever is looking best.
