On another note I value the knowledge of those on here much more qualified than myself, Probably wouldn’t bother at all if it wasn’t for this forum if I was honest but it adds to the enjoyment of watching the games no doubt. So far by being on here this year I’ve dropped LoLo, Murray and Fogarty and replaced them with Angus ,Munster and JFH and I’m still not completely happy , I’m running with a forward / half heavy squad the back five are embarrassing but it’s a risk I’m willing to take early on but obviously TLT dependant - a big thumbs up to the guys / girls that keep this joint ticking over cheers !!!

Looks like contact is with the elbow if that makes a difference? Fending with your elbow to someone's throat seems like it would carry a penalty. Definitely doesn't look like there is any intent there though.

That’s a good point - if the contact is elbow to head/neck then it shouldn’t matter if it’s a fend or not. On reflection, a fend to the face should be treated like a high tackle.

Having said that I still think we will see dozens of these all season without any further comment, where a player is lucky enough to not be injured.

Which again might be ok if it was a grade 1, 1 week deal... but this is a grade 2. Only explanation (to me) is a huge injury tax.

If this happens mid season it’s going to one of the weekly #codeincrisis talking points.

Honestly makes them go from an edge of the top 8 to edge of the top 4 team in one signing.

To be fair, he was also photographed wearing a blue t-shirt.
Not a Titans one, or even the same shade, but it was blue and if that's not conclusive proof then what is?

Has anyone got any info on Timoko at the Raiders? His one game for the seemed solid.

He's improved heaps in terms of scoring every year since 2018. Not that he'll necessarily continue increasing his fantasy output at the same rate, but it's not like he's been stagnant.

He's on my watch list. Will prob get a start if Croker misses start of season but ideally you'd want him to beat Scott for a ctr spot.

I feel like the Titans need to deliver Smith in a couple of minutes now. Imagine this is just a normal mundane conference because ABC company is a shorts sponsor now

The bit that CM hid down the bottom of their article is that the NRL auditer hasn't had any requests to register a contract for Smith, so there will be no signing announcement, today at least.

Yeah its not happening today. If it was, you'd think the NRL would be involved in the presser, live stream on the NRL website etc.

Opacic is ahead at the moment. Oldfield would be better fantasy wise. Will Penisini may get a contract upgrade but is not quite ready yet, but is a lock in when he is

Don't even worry, as soon as William Penisini Jr reaches first grade he will be straight in my side. Fkn gun

Better than a shorts sponsor at least

I'm assuming an unsourced tweet from a random is the most credible news we've had on CS9 today

Let's actually see what everyone thinks...

TU - CS9 is playing on this year
    TD - CS9 is retiring
