Expected to be back on the wing this season. Croker and Scott centers.

If I had to pick out of him or Moylan I’d pick Moylan.

At Half I'd agree with you @rabbits21, but as a tackle-bot hooker, even getting 60 mins, and only 35 points a game, that's $120k ITB.
I currently have Moylan as back-up half, but Croker is certainly interesting if he starts. Cheers

Isaako isn’t in my side yet. How bad can a FB with GK be? I’m still hoping Ramsay gets FB at Saints!

No love for Koroisau on this site. He usually starts hot, plays the first bye and is the best ducker under for tackle breaks in the business. He makes a lot of tackles which unfortunately thru wear and tear catches up with him later in seasons played and is good for an injury or two but still a gun hooker. Am I missing something about him this season like another hooker in the wings or injury concerns?

I've seen D. Laurie in a few sides, so be careful if he even makes the team after round 2. Would this be the Tigers side from round 2 onwards when Doueihi serves his one game suspension.

    1. M. Mbye
    2. D. Nofoaluma
    3. J. Roberts
    4. B.J. Leilua
    5. T. Talau/A. Kepaoa
    6. A. Doueihi

After reading I decided to create a different team what I'm starting to like

    Cook
    Crichton watson ford
    Rikki davey
    Munster lam
    Averillo walker
    Turbo pappy nui

    Koro grant brailey cht

    Blore hola stimson simonsson

Gives a hell of a bench what could separate you from the pack at the start just need to mid price players to pull their weight.

There's potential Mbye plays 14 as utility/cover for Liddle with Laurie at 1.

Its going to be hard because Doueihi out round 1 means we're unlikely to know for sure what the full strength team is.

That is a formidable 14 to 17 Manlybeaver. I don't know if I would have the cojones to start with it but if everything fell into place .......

Maguire was talking like Mbye is locked in and hasn’t done any hooker training. Sounds like Laurie is going to have to kill it this weekend to have any chance.

is it not the same as starting with guns instead of having them on your bench mate? Still same amount of guns to most teams.

You say its stacked with guns, but there's no Cleary, no Tedesco and I'm not sure the bench makes up for it

I can really see myself flip flopping on JFH vs TKO all preseason and ultimately choosing the wrong one.

Whilst people are posting teams, after having a bit of a play I have the much vaunted $0k remaining team

    Cook
    Watson Tino Hola
    Blore Davey
    Cleary Munster
    Roberts Bird
    Tedesco Trbo Isaako

    Crichton Brailey Liddle Lam
    Croker Averillo Niu Laurie

I think this is close to the team I'll run with, in structure if not specific players. There's obviously a few guys that will move around based on what happens come TLT

That team I posted has more to do with being a starting pod team. Since most teams will have the likes of clearly crichton and teddy to start but how many starting teams will have the likes of grant cook and koro not many. Saying that it's always safer going with the crowd

I like it, similar in basic structure to mine, seven origin players is up there though...

Looks strong, particularly the double gun halves. I'd worry that with no bank you're restricting team-fixing moves and cow jumping in the first couple of weeks. Suppose Isaako to Moylan/Oates/TLT Cheapie would leave you with more freedom.

To be honest, I don't care about $0 bank because I know that the team will change before kickoff. It just gave me an easy point to stop tinkering. (and that is why Isaako is there over other options, he was the last spot filled when I noticed I had exactly enough)

If I get Moylan though, I don't think it will be in my playing 17. Have you seen his recent scores at 5/8th. Even if he is fit I am not expecting much fantasy-wise.

I will happily play Oates as 3rd WFB if he gets the start, but not banking on it happening at this point.

As Mulvy said, I have too many origin players. Teddy and Cleary will very likely stay.
Maybe ditch Cook, but not sure who I'd run instead (maybe Brailey to starter and change position)
So Tino could well get the chop for origin purposes, I am least confident about him improving on last year anyway.
