I honestly think you'll go well with those, two good picks.

I've got Cleary, Munster, Lam and haven't had Avo or Moylan in any of my drafts.

Milford is going to be back R1 - so why not him - and of course there is always a ticket to the Croker Stoker

Same as you. Currently running Cleary, Lam and tossing up CHT/Milf on the bench. I may end up with Moylan as 3rd WFB (currently Oates for the same price), or move Avo to CTR and Hopoate to that 3rd WFB spot.

I'm thinking of small braining with you, Mulvy

Averillo or Moylan chances for backup in 18-21 though.

Also thinking about ditching Munster for Milford/CHT/Brooks and using the cash to upgrade elsewhere.

Have too many origin players under consideration so looking at making space, and Munster has disappointed me more than once in the past

Yeah I've also had Brooks, Milf, and Moses at various stages, all look like decent value, non origin players.

I've found a team I really like. I had Twal in there but then realised I'd rather go lite on Mids with one gun (Crichton) and buy Fifita for essentially the same price. Matto > Cook at the moment for team balance and he's a likely R13 player.

Egan is tempting me but I don’t think I can do it. He barely runs 20 metres a game and doesn’t seem to make more than around 40 tackles a game.

He’s priced at 33 and he’s probs gonna average around 40 for mine.

Does anyone think Egan can lift his ppm by making 45-50 tackles a game/making more run metres/attacking stats!

Light on in HOK HLF & CTR

Heavy on the MID EDG & WFB

I like the balance of this.

    Watson
    Fa'asuamaleaui Paulo Taukeiaho
    Fifita Matterson
    Milford Lam
    Bird Averillo
    Trbojevic Tedesco Brimson

    Brailey Davey Oates Liddle

    Blore Hola Croker Niu

Under the 6-again rules he averages 73 minutes as starting hooker and gets 44 fantasy points. I think there is every reason to expect he can continue that.

Its certainly not bad, but I think Brailey and Liddle offer more value. If I have room for a 3rd hooker in reserves he could well make my team.
Despite the fact that people here don't rate him as a player, injury to Lawton mean he probably has reasonable job security.

Is it God’s way of telling you to stop changing your team until TLT if you have $0 ITB?

Not really worth reading, but Stimson does confirm he has been training in the lock position this pre-season

    https://www.dailyadvertiser.com.au/story/7073329/ive-got-to-make-a-mark-stimson-prepares-for-big-year-after-injury-frustration/?src=rss

If he does get a spot on teh bench you'd think it will be to play middle third.

Little bit on Reece Walsh who is challenging Isaako at the Broncos

Scott Sattler - “He is a fully-fledged fullback and I believe he is good enough to be playing NRL this year.”

Broncos teammate Tevita Pangai Jnr described Walsh as a rare talent.

“Reece has had a crazy off-season and he will be one to watch this year,” Pangai Jnr said.

“Once he gets the balance of his game right, he is going to be special.

“He likes to attack on every play but when he gets that balance right, he will be brilliant.

“He is bloody tough, he stops a lot of tries at training so he‘s not afraid to put his body on the line.

“He has a huge future in the game.”

One to keep an eye on. Will play fullback on Friday night vs wynnum

It must be driving you crazy Wolfie! I am looking forward to the trial match tonight, in particular how and where Bird plays. He must have the butterflies after what he has gone thru with injuries, I wish him well for his sake ( and ours ). To top it off we can look forward to the dulcet tones of Blocker Roach no doubt.
