Hard to actually say if BSmith is guaranteed lock if Finucane is out upon Grant return

When Finucane was out last year, BSmith was also out for most of that time, and it was Tino/NAS at lock. NAS did play lock in FW1 when BSmith was back and Finucane was still out

Probably gets some more mins though

Not sure he gets enough minutes there. Thinking maybe 30-40 minutes. Might see the Schlong back in action for round 1

Welch talked him up on the TK podcast but didn't realise how expensive he is. Seems like very little upside, back to the drawing board

That was my thinking. Could easily be welch bromwich NAS starting middle. Bs9 should get good mins regardless but its a risk. Bellamy may manage his mins too if he plays 3 big weeks at hooker and is currently bulked up for "lock" role.

Not sayinf hes a bad pick but does have that risk attached. Scores a couple if tries tho and all analysis is meaningless

Shit. Does this make the Cheese a must have? Starts the first few weeks at hooker then slots straight into starting lock.

Finucane started the trial on the bench with Welch starting at lock. Bellamy wants to keep one of his captains on the field at all times so Welch could stay at lock when Grant is back and Smith back to the bench

MID Minutes rotation thoughts with revised Storm pack.

    Brom 50
    NAS 50
    Welch 60

Definite risk, but only realllllll risk is him sticking as a 45 point middle I think mate, too much 6 week upside for me

    Milf

    Negatives/downside
    - Could score the same as last season and be difficult to trade out.
    - Missing out on 150k elsewhere.
    - Essentially competing with Brooks in my team (Chin and Lam almost locked in)
    - Plays for the worst team

    Positives
    - Averaged 54 in 2019 and 51 in 2018
    - Contract season, wants to stay @ Broncs
    - Moving to #7
    - No Siebold
    - 26
    - Priced @ 32. Mid 40s is good enough.

    Edit: IMO

I'm more interested in Welch. Already about 7 points unders when he starts and doesn't get injured (30 minutes+). That puts him around 47 points in 50 minutes, should see a bit more than that

Yea flip a coin on that one. Both evenly priced but NAS averages slightly higher than Smith at 50mins or more.

Think Tui Kamikamica (2i Kami²ca, maths fans) has most to gain from the Finucane news.

Brandon Smithers locked into my team. Welch a serious consideration now given he will probably have to play 60 minutes as the tackle bot. 6 weeks of 55's would be nice.

I didn't realise Welch was around that price. Another spanner

    50 average in 50+ minutes.

I don't know why people think Seibold is the issue with Milford given that was when he performed best (fantasy-wise)

Not going to touch him with a 10 foot pole. Multiple hamstring issues last year. Also half partner (Croft or Dearden) is still going to take significant KM away from him

Why don't you gamble on Harper instead. This way you can guarantee an upgrade to Turbo on the exact week he comes back. If you play Hoy, and you are looking to upgrade when Ponga comes back, you may not have the luxury of the same week transition into a Turbo trade. Hoy could be out let say week 4 and Turbo back week 6. What's your upgrade plan then?

Hope Laurie is getting the regular fullback gig.

I just can't rule the possibility of Magoulias ending up in my team out based on Rabbits21 getting burned by him in 2020 Razz

    NAS: 583k / 50+mins Average = 50.9
    Smith: 602k / 50+mins Average = 45.4
    Welch: 537k / 50+mins Average = 49.9

    Welch looking good!
