Had to lol at Renouf picking the Broncos to finish in the top eight, and Soward having the Dragons doing the same. https://www.nrl.com/news/2021/03/03/experts-view-2021-top-8-selections/

    Welch looking good!

Smith is undercooked there because of largely bench role, starting hooker scores are far higher plus add in potential for staying on and moving to lock. 50.5 avg starting hooker

Very true. Is Grant about about 4 weeks and Finucane about 6?

Welch at 60k cheaper does looks tempting though.

Have to factor in when they're say 4 & 6 weeks that's probably 1-2 weeks less in rounds just due to that being time until first game

I think I actually made myself nervous over Smith with own fact finding.

With the news of him bulking and unlikley to play the full game, say he plays 65. Can he get to that 55 average where he becomes worth it

probably banking on a try or 2, which he is more than capable.

Sorry if this has been brought up before, but what are the thoughts on Ryan James? Risk is high, but can he score well again?

Hard to find enough minutes in that Raiders pack. At his best was a 70-80 minute prop.

Cheese is in my team. I'm lactose intolerant so this could end badly.

Saifiti has been named knights Captain to start the season. Looking like yet another MID super-cow. Priced at 49, averaged 60 playing 50+ minutes last season

NAS has played over 50 minutes four times in the last two seasons over 45 games.

Smith not being on the bench makes it less not more likely that NAS starts at lock too, given how the Storm use their bench for impact and momentum.

    Version 3

    Turpin
    Crichton, tino, cheese
    D.fifita, Rikki
    Cleary, Fogarty.
    Bird, Averillo
    Ted, Hoy, Isaako

    J.Brailey, Koloa, Watson, Simpkin
    Niu, Simpkins, Walker, Laurie

Going Macca to Turpin, and Mitchell to Isaako. Allowed me to get cheese and Fogarty. Simpkin, Simpkins and Walker are all dependant on TLT. Definitely weakened my bench.

The cheese with only 14 games ever over 50 minutes for an average of 45.4 across all positions, 50.5 at hooker. What am I missing?

Welch has me more interested given his price

Welch is their A prop anyway (I picked him up in draft woop) and has value but is another Origin player at a tricky price.

I'm expecting they will have NAS at prop and Welch at lock, the same as they lined up in the trial match. Given the really strong opposition the first 3 weeks, they need their best players starting and playing big minutes. NAS was playing at 135 kg in 2019, when he only had 1 game at 50 minutes. He is trimmer and fitter this season.

He’d be a cash out by origin time no doubt but this run would help him start strong. One to consider. The cheese with try potential the more explosive and volatile pick but not sure if he’s a great option

picking the cheese defies all logic but you have to consider that it's really not that easy to be this cheesy

If you’re debating which one of three players in the same team in the same role, it’s probably a bad idea all around?
