Re: NRL Draftstars 2021
Fuck sake, was leading the warriors game all game and walsh broke through with berry on his inside would have wrapped the win up.
walsh falls over, loses the ball. BMM gets knocked out next play and i end up falling away to 9th with 122 instead of over 900.

kents,
Oh man that's brutal. Part of the reason why I'm really enjoying it though. Only play if I'm watching and love how every play can make a big difference especially if you've got multiple teams.

That is rough mate! An unfortunate turn of events. Sounds like you are having some good success though

Re: NRL Draftstars 2021
Looked at some interesting stats for our weekly article this week including metres per run & metres per minute. Sipley and Joliffe stood out, being in the top 4 for both.
Also looked at teams' performance against the pre-game line - a couple of really interesting results there too. Have left the links below:

Will be updated tomorrow morning for Round 9. Tryscorers were updated but we'd forgotten to update draftstars!

Re: NRL Draftstars 2021
Hope you guys have had more luck, had horrendous results for the last round or so.
Hoping for a change in fortunes tomorrow!
Edit: Hit JFH first team try scorer @ 67s though to alleviate the dfs pain haha

Re: NRL Draftstars 2021
I'm still on an unthinkably bad run. Put up a really solid team across the board in this match... bar one. Eight strong scorers, but I put fucking Sivo in there and he's fucking the whole thing up.
On subject, Sivo selector and Eels fan aside, I thought his disallowed try was a sad snapshot of where parts of the game are at in 2021.

Re: NRL Draftstars 2021
Haha mate it's pure ass really.
Ikavalu was huge and only 3 % picked him, avoided all the carnage of injuries as well.
Last 2 weeks has been a complete 360, just when I was thinking of packing it in.

Yeah, I said I was close to packing it in and for the sake of my bank account, I truly think I need to do it. But I also know how quick a single week like yours can change it so quickly. A single breakout week (and continued break-evens or thereabouts) funded my entire season, and BBL season last year. Just can't seem to find that luck this year, though.
Regarding the luck, I was out all Saturday last week and only entered the free contests, hours out from the games on the car trip down to Sydney (as a passenger). Ended up scoring really well in the Eels game which probably would have given me a nice return if I'd been in my usual $2 comp, but them's the breaks. I got half my investment back tonight and am thinking of just putting it towards tomorrow's contests and hoping for the best, or calling it quits. But $20 says I top up my account again to have a team in every game tomorrow.

Re: NRL Draftstars 2021
Always the way mate.
Can't really give advice on what to do. Maybe stick with the 2 dollar ones for while until you are confident with what your strategy. I have a fair amount of disposable income but looking to buy a second property and start a family soon so that could see the end of my draft star days for a while.

Very nice B/L well done
I came out about even last night. Seem to be having more success in the multi game slates where there are more options involved
