Just with a new coach and now he’s in his final year of his contract I’m pretty sure he has to be better.

On another note I’ve just been on Dragons forums and talk is when Norman is back round 2 that Clune will get the 14 jersey as Macca mightn’t be up to 80mins yet. If this is the case Macca is an avoid.

Also many many Dragons fans have Faamusili starting in the front row? I think he’s priced at 22 so could be some value there. Alvaro off the interchange.

Who do we think is the better choice, Faamusili at 293k or Alvaro at 296k?

I'm pretty sure the Dragons forum would be the most useless forum there is given Hook is quite possibly insane

I don't think any fan would have predicted Kerr would be on the edge in the Charity Shield

Also why is Milford the only person off-contract where a contract year is used as justification to pick him. Why not Tohu, Hopoate, Peachey, Gosiewski, N Brown (and the list goes on and on and on)

If someone told me yep went to Broncos training he’s calling all the shots getting his hands on the ball demanding it being the dominant half and putting long kicks in I’d be all over him.

I drove past on Friday but couldn’t tell who was who at 50 km/h but I can confirm a bunch of dudes were throwing a footy around.

Yeah when he hits so many fantasy points, he shuts up shop, its not like he has ever continued on to get 14 or 17 TBs even when not scoring tries.... oh wait, that isn't him at all! This wasn't a game where he scored 2 tries in the first half, and extrapolating that, it is a game where his only attacking stats were TBs, which are his bread and butter.

In 2017 Cotric got 16 tries and averaged 5.4 TBs a game for a fantays average of 38.

He has matched that average a couple of times since. But can't reall ybeat it. if he can go 20% on his season best by moving to an inferior club, good on him.

I'm sure he'll bang out a 70 or 2. But he had 3 scores of 10 or less last season. I am not convinced he is worth the $100k+ extra you are paying for Roberts/Bird, or $200k extra over Laurie if he starts

I will have all of Bird, Laurie and Cotric. The difficulty is finding value in CTR and WFB that have the potential to become a keeper. Cotric fits that, but only because of the new role they have created for him. Remember last season, the value keepers were all players that had been given new roles that they had never had before, to take them to new heights. This is the scenario here.

Depends if there is any utility on the bench. We don’t know til 4pm Tuesday.

If there are utilities on the bench I’m probs gonna avoid to get Cookie but will have to sacrifice either Teddy or Pap at WFB. I can’t have both Teddy and Cook.

Even having Asiata on the bench is slightly risky. I think he covered hooker a few times at cowboys before the arrival of Robson/Cotter.

I’m also concerned about Cooky, benji will take some of his minutes if the game is not in doubt. There was also article in which he said he will play smarter and not just use his speed.

I don't have Cook because want other guns but don't think he's getting spelled. Do people really think he will?

Cotric is priced about the same as Rapana, Manu and one of the Morris twins and they all average there or there abouts. Yes he is at a new team and yes he is a good player but I don’t see any of these guys averaging any more than they did last year. The new position at a new team thing really only adds more uncertainty (imo Very Happy )

If he was priced around 30 then he might be interesting

Edit: if you are buying him hoping to get 40 points a game consistently then fair enough

I’ve been talking up Hopoate too you know that. Not sure I can fit him in though but I’ll try.

I agree Kerr could be moved to middle in a few weeks time but he’s not a big mins prop so Faamusili still quite possibly gets 35 maybe 40mins.... I see some value there. Alvaro has a good ppm when he gets minutes as well.

I might I may not. Depends on TLT.

I’ve got Cleary and Lam. For my third half could have either Brooks or Milford or I could go cheaper and move Averillo from centre to emergencies. Not sure yet.

Out of Welch, Turpin and Brooks I can have one maybe two of them, just need to figure out who has best value.

What if Turpin and Macca have utilities on their benches?.... would you then consider starting J. Brailey at hooker or go back to Cook?

Maybe the plan is he doesn’t run as much in some games but that he will save it for when business time of the season comes around when he then unleashes!

Wouldn’t be as good for fantasy though if he’s not running as much.

Macca is really unlikely to, Brailey is expected to have Crossland on the bench, then Mann when Green is back soon.

A Broncos 4 forwards bench is what I’m hoping for....
