So you reckon it’s likely Mbye goes to 14 and Laurie keeps the 1 round 2 onwards?
This would be my guess, as I can not see why else you’d be giving Brooks in game kicking practice. Laurie has shown also that he is more than ready to start at FB.

Maybe Maguire is looking to give Brooks greater responsibility to help bring him out of his shell.
Maybe they don't see MBye kicking for a while given his hamstring injury.
Maybe they want to have more goal kicking depth and figure a trial is a great chance to stimulate match pressure.

Point is there are plenty of possibilities aside from MBye being utility.

Well if MBye is 14, they definitely need a new goal kicker.

I'm convinced EasyTiger is either the most logical Tigers fan or Moses Mbye

    Not sure which one

That's how I see it with Host. Also, I'm quite proud of that fact that I picked Lawrie in the now famous debate and don't want to tarnish my image picking Host now Very Happy

What if Turpin and Macca have utilities on their benches?.... would you then consider starting J. Brailey at hooker or go back to Cook?

I don't like questions like this because

    A) there will almost certainly be a utility in the 21. Depending on team it may not be easy to react to final teams

    B) what happens in week 1 is no guarantee to happen in week 2 or 3 or 6.

Just have to make your best guess about what will happen for the first month or so.

Which is why many on this forum avoid shit players, even if they are good at fantasy.

With thanks to Milch's spreadsheet and MTBs data, here's my current pre TLT take on Hookers.

Projected scores are my estimates.  The players are listed in order of points / cash upside based on that.

The column "risk" is a my current take on certainty - eg job security, injury, new coach etc.

[And duals who have HOK listed as their second position are excluded].

All I will say is that if Cotric is going to get to a 45 average, he better be nailing goals from the sideline as well as kicking them from infront.

OR he might just continue the 1PPM he had in a meaningless trial and become the highest averaging player in the game

    This guy gets it!

Got c.500k for final bench spot. Position doesn't massively matter.

    Options:

    1) Hodgson. POD. New rules, ball steal etc. Guaranteed 80 other than blow-outs, CS9-style. Will play handling lock if Starling comes on, stay hooker if Havilli. Misses tackles but KMs, TAs etc.

    2) Tupounuia. Underpriced from partial bench role last year. Improving player. Next to best attacking half in comp. Rollercoaster scores.

    3) Milford. Gamble on return to form discussed here already.

    4) Lodge. Boring pick for more predictable scores and early price rises. Uncertainty on role from Rnd 4 on but money left in bank gives more options for trading.

    Thoughts?
