Wonder if they'll give Oates CTR DPP given it looks like it's just for one game while Herbie out. Could be juicy for later in the season if injuries strike and he starts second row.

Hmm is it wise to go against the grain and leave Fifita out on here and go for Fogarty instead and use the bit extra cash elsewhere. Maybe Fifita will stay averaging 55 as he is priced at close to 80 minutes from last season and Fogarty as long as got the goal kicking will go from 50 to 55 and match him.

Is another number for the 1st bye round as well.

Personally I wouldn't be leaving Fifita out for Fogarty. Plenty of halves options this year. Plus, would you really want to be watching David Fifita without owning him? He's built for fantasy and can tonne up at any given week

DPP are given out based on Rd 1 teamlist. So players will get given new positions. Then every 5? Rounds or so they add more if required.

He will 100% need upgrading mate, just whether he can make the $115,000 from averaging 45 to even make it slightly worth it

True mate, but there have been plenty of instances where they haven't given them because it was just for a short term injury. Can't think of a specific example, but I personally doubt Oates gets dpp even if named at centre tomorrow.

I think it happened with Whitehead who qualified for centre (not sure if it was from Round 1 or four games) but didn't get it.

Nah, jokes. I think you are right about Whitehead though. IIRC it was the first year they changed it from "they need four starts in that position" to "we'll tell you every six weeks and it will be arbitrary base on perceived position going forward and the vibe of the thing".

Funny thing was though, they gave dpp to someone in preseason (a forward I think, again can't remember who) based on perceived role going forward, I think based on a trial, only for TLT to not even have them in that position, but the dpp remained.
