mrbrownstone wrote:Turpin looks great with no bench hooker, but are we confident it still looks that way in RD5, say? I think he needs consistent big minutes to be real value. Priced at 40, his averages are:
50-60 mins: 37
60-70 mins: 44
70+ mins: 59
The caveat is all small sample sizes, so hard to read too much into. Also mainly played under the old rules. In 3 decent minute hooker games under the new rules he averegad 53.
I'd say the biggest risk is Cam Smith signing on in the next month.
Paix could make the bench after a week or 2 if things don't go as planned and put a halt to his scoring
But with the information we have now he is as good a bet as any

Robert's for me but Averillos DPP could be handy.

Wash between him and Turpin, Liddle less risk because of starting price, have them all, all about making money early season. Brailey Is a free 200k minimummattnz wrote:
Watson is bench cover. Have 6 mids, 3 hookers, plenty of cover in those positions.
Surely you would rate Brailey behind all of Watson, Liddle and Turpin for value?

True, but wasn't he coming back from an injury. Possibly being eased in.

Brailey
Watson, Crichton, Tino
Fifita, Riki
Munster, Cleary
Roberts, Averillo
Laurie, Papenhuyzen, Teddy
Liddle, Host, Lodge, Lam
Moylan, Niu, Stefano, Simonsson
The only change I'm considering making would be Moylan to Leniu or Croker but otherwise I'm happy with what I put together. Only 11k in the bank is concerning though as that ain't my style, I usually like to have at least 50k spare to start the year.
Maybe downgrading Munster if you could bare to do that? That is what I have done.

Coming back from injury without a full preseason. If Waddell plays like in the trial he doesn't last long.Milchcow wrote:

Whether or not they make swap this week or later surely Ford not being in 17 means Fuimaono is preferred for either positionmultiple.scoregasms wrote:
Surely he swaps with Kerr come kick off. You don't play a middle on the edge and an edge in the middle
Not thinking trap atm

I’d guess they are easing him back to fitness after broken thumb? Not risking in first grademintotheimmortal wrote:Take what you will from it but cust isn't injured he's been named at hooker for the NSW cup team

I didn't realise Welch was so cheap. Still leaning towards Tino, but will have to seriously look at it.

I’d be extremely weary of Fui, always gets moved around, can never seem to nail down a position for a consecutive run

As someone who got sucked into the Levi trap last year, my team sure has a lot of potential Levi 2.0s and it's got me quite uncomfortable
