Probably not a lot of upside (although by memory didn't he have an injury affected game or two??) but as solid as a rock.
There are three MID on the bench to eat up some of his minutes

I am still seeing enough variation in my crew to make it diverge enough from cookie cutter and move away from the pack. [could easily be backwards though]
For what it is worth, this is what I have landed upon
McCullough
Taukeiaho, Crichton (C), Asofa-Solomona
Fifita, Capewell
Fogarty, Lam
Bird, Averillo
Laurie, Papenhuyzen (VC), Hoy
Watson, Turpin, Liddle, Croker
Riki, Leniu, Roberts, Niu

I've made 2 changes to my team and feeling good about them. Fixed FOMO by getting Tino
Lam+Leota to Croker+Tino
Bench is Brailey Liddle Croker Lodge

Taukeiaho as a Roosters forward interests me, purely because if he gets 75% of the goals Flanagan got, but otherwise maintains his 2020 average, there's a 7 point increase to his scoring.
I think he can maintain last years workrate, and can probably handle the odd 30 minute game , made up for by a few scores in the 80s.
I had him originally but got rid but really want him. Would you downgrade Bird, play Averillo and get SST instead of Tino? That's probably only way can make it happen in my team

Keen on some thoughts lads
14k ITB
Turpintine*
Tino* Welch Watson*
Fifita* Riki*
Cleary (C) Lam
Bird* Opacic
Teddy* RTS Hoy
Crichton* Brailey* Liddle Averillo
Niu Laurie* Mead Simmonson
*Players keen to keep
I'm keen on Lodge, Munster, Pap and Capewell but I feel my team is a lot better balanced this way
Is having Welch scoring high 40s-50, better than Lodge high 30s-low 40s?

My main change few days ago was Tino to Welch. Not sure I'm happy as Tino ownership is scary
Looking at the Titans bench, there's going to be big minutes for all the forwards even if Peachey plays roving Lock

I'm trying to get SST instead of Tino but Bird has to be sub 295k player and have most of the good ones available

Never had Hoy. Seems like a trap
Listening/Reading Ponga, seems like he's not confident in round 4. Keeps mentioning 4, 5 ,6 as return weeks. If Hoy can string together some 45s, which is within his ability, 4 weeks should net 150k gain
My main reason for having him is the lack of cheap options. Already have Niu, Simo, Laurie and even Mead (yuck). Only guy I'd gp to instead of Hoy is maybe Fusitua

So my team has had a little reshuffle and has become orientated around 7 teams haha.
Turpin
Welch, NAS, Lodge
Jackson, Riki
Cleary, Brooks
Momo, Averillo
Pappy, Edwards, Staines
Brailey, Watson, Liddell, Tupouniua
Lam, Hoy, Niu, Laurie
Broncos - 4
Panthers - 4
Storm - 3
Tigers - 3
Knights - 3
Bulldogs - 2
Roosters - 2
Four Broncos could be a problem, 100k in the bank for round 2 moves keeps things versatile.

I'd probably either turn RTS into Pap. Alt downgrade RTS (via Laurie) to get Munster, swap Welch to Lodge, Lam out for Capewell
RTS 45 Welch 50 Lam 45
Munster 55 Lodge 40 Capewell 50
140 v 145

Not sure if Hoy played 80 in trial but scored 16pts including 4 TBs

I think our perception of Hoy is heavily influenced by his debut, where from memory he actually played in the halves, and had 277 km.Loomer wrote:

Looking at Ogden. I wonder if gets an increase of minutes this year. Could be a left field EMG punt.
