Same with Milford. Don’t think he’ll reach the heights of his 2019 season but will surely go above last year to at least a 40 average

40pts will be difficult with loads of missed tackles then Hasler gets pissed off and drops him next week. That's my fear

Am I mad for swapping Tino to Capewell and moving Angus to starting MID to free up that extra 70k?

Isaako/Welch will not. Isaako/Tino probably will.

Isaako is going to struggle cause the Broncs will struggle. Host may lose his spot to Koloa.

    I'd personally hold Paps

I'm running with him. If he plays 65 he scores 55 and I take it. Only needs to be greedy a few times in that 65 minutes and he busts a few tackles and he gets a good score. I was going to take Grant for $220K more so why not Smith. Then I can have a look at the guns knowing I'll get value out of him. Less risk than Tino for mine.

Dunno, they could rest SST from second spell and give Daniel Suluka Fifita more game time against a wooden spoon contender this week. I say about 10 point difference.

Take out sin bin 21pt game last season and Isaako averages 41pts from 5 games at FB and priced at 30pts

I haven't really considered him. He was always going to be heavily selected this year, but I'm actually surprised he's the most owned.

    May live to regret this.

I'm willing to ride the NAS train for 5-6 weeks rather than jump on the "most popular player" schtick as well.
I want to see a couple of weeks of his scores (and if there's any real upside I minutes etc. in his role at Titans).

Like you, I'll probably live to regret it. Excited

Made some late changes to my squad and I feel disgusted in myself TBH. I've had Koro at hooker and crumbled to fit in Turpin (who I'm not entirely convinced on), which gave me just enough extra cash to upgrade a cheapie to Tino.

Now my team looks exactly like everyone else's. Feck.

Do you want the money or the points? Paps averages 49 without GK and with CS9. He's likely a season long keeper, Isaako won't be. Isaako would need to make nearly 300k for me to justify that.

Risk is whether Paps plays SOO

You can’t take out his sin bin though? His long term FB average is 38, probably just enough to make him usable as WFB cow with decent scores

Bellamy says Smith isn't playing 80. Not seeing a real upside compared with his usual decent minutes lock role.
NAS is my preferred option of the 4, the only one in my team.

Really wish we knew whether Ponga would be back R4 or R6... Tossing between Hoy and Reimis at this stage! Or wondering whether I should looking more at Reimis vs Niu

I'm not sure if I'll pick one of them, or neither.

It's pretty easy to see both upside and downside of both.

Both of them look like high ppm players in the kind of stints they should get and are going to be big min players in the future, but it just depends on what the coach sees in them now

Leniu should get 30 mins I think. Eisenhuth is an ok player but he doesn't really add anything when they already have superior blokes playing big mins. I doubt he stands in the way of Leniu

Stefano a better chance of making a bit of coin if he gets some mins, just so hard to tell what stage he's at in Maguires eyes. I thought he looked really solid in the trial, only played a shortish stint (whereas Maguire gave Ofa and Packer a second stint), don't know if you can read anything into that or not. He's a big fkn lad and looks to move really well. Bit of Haas about him. There's a scenario where he quickly becomes #1 bench prop (and ultimately relegates Ofa to the bench), also a scenario where he's eased in behind Mikaele and plays 15 to 20 mins a game
He is $246k bench filler that has great upside potential. That is hard to come by this season.

Doubt there is much difference in Smith's scores between playing 70 mins and 80 mins though.

I don't have him but Smoothy grabbing 10 mins isn't something that would stop me picking BS9

I rate the move, others here wouldnt approve so much. What does the extra $70k do for you?

I don't think so... I know Finucane was coming off the bench at the back end of last year (Prelim Final and Grand Final) but he was also coming back from injury (R14) so missed like 8 weeks of footy.

NAS, BS9, Tui, Hynes off the bench is far too strong.

I doubt it with how successfully Bellyache uses him, much better bringing him on against tiring packs

Would have expected 20 minutes, no point having him there for 10. If you can play 70, you can play 80.
