That is why I am high on him. His FB average over all is hurt due to the sinbin, one game where the Broncs scored 0 tries. His debut game back in 2017. He should comfortably average 40 points wirh the odd massive game. As long as he doesnt get dropped when the Broncs do shit.

The main reason I took Isaako out of my team was too many Broncos. Felt gross.

Having second thoughts about bringing him back in and running a different gun to Teddy

    What edge is he on?

Not to mention more speed than Oxford Street

    Anyone looking at Kodi?

37 Average first half of the year when Green was in the team (However includes a 0 form 4 minutes of game). 9 games.

44 Average without Green, 8 games.

Perhaps too much of a midranger/too much risk?

Most teams will have 1 or 2 of Tino, Welch, BSMith or NAS and I don't think you can go wrong with either of these options. Some will necessitate trades earlier than others and I don't see any being final 17 keepers.

I've had Tino all pre-season, but with everyone's team becoming the same I'm keen on something different. Don't love the BSmith/NAS/Welch hype, but as a couple have mentioned this morning surprised Capewell isn't getting more buzz. Loves a missed tackle and had an unlucky injury last season but I'd trust him to do better than those others listed at the same price with 80 minutes on the edge.

Isaako is one I have really wanted to grab. He has been in none of my teams but always on my mind. I just think Broncs turn it around this year and have a much more consistent year. I have always had wraps on Isaako and can see a 40+ avg is not too much to ask for for him. Unfortunately, he just doesn't fit into my team makeup.

KNik is like Keary to me. Strings a few big games together to get people hooked and then reverts back to 30's but people have other fires to put out so he sits in your team longer than you want.

This is the other thing I've been tossing up this morning, dropping Teddy down to RTS/Brimson and running Macca/NBrown/Tino in that last bench spot instead of someone gross like Host.

Definite value in Isaako, but is there a chance he gets shunted back onto a wing?

One thing on Capewell as well is that he was brought over from the Sharks to be the Panthers main second rower with Kikau being the burst player on the other edge. Although Martin serviced very well for them last year, he was just a fill in and has now reverted back to his role off middle player and stop gap on the edge for when Kikau gets rested. I don't see Capewell playing anything other than 80 minutes... Also the Black Widow tag is not warranted as May is that guy off the bench now who can play anywhere. Only reason I am not picking Capewell is because he mainly needs tries to hit those big scores. Without them, his average is probably not much more than what he is priced at.

Possibly, but I think if Broncos are going to rebuild/get better they need to find consistency and Niu wasn't good enough last year. They need to keep Isaako there and let him work on his game.

With CHT hamstring concerns, could start the season strong

I'm running with him. If he plays 65 he scores 55 and I take it. Only needs to be greedy a few times in that 65 minutes and he busts a few tackles and he gets a good score. I was going to take Grant for $220K more so why not Smith. Then I can have a look at the guns knowing I'll get value out of him. Less risk than Tino for mine.

Im keen on B Smith but head is saying Turpin. We all know Smith is capable of some massive scores at hooker after watching games for the kiwis & maoris

If someone takes his spot, it will be Reese Walsh - but he's still on a development contract. I don't think Niu will play any fullback

Capewell is on my watchlist, see what happens in the opening rounds. I can always trade BSmith to Capewell.

Must say MTB... not sure if it is the fact you always finish so high or if it is because everything you say is so convincing but every time you post, I read! I take note of a lot of things you say.
