I think he is a bit underpriced after a bad start last year. Not sure he gets many more minutes though than what he was playing at the end of the year (40-50) - I suspect depending on game flow Tino will push up front when Peachy comes on. Can't see Fifita or Proctor getting much of a rest and Peachy needs some minutes somewhere. Will more than likely be from the Prop minutes pool (pending backline injuries obv).

Wallace is one of those gut feel picks - if you think he can regain some form he might be worth a punt. End of season form has him 6-8 points unders.

    BUMP

Do you guys reckon it’s worth dropping Averillo/Moylan down to Simonsson so I can turn Host into Milf? Surely he can hit 40+ right? And Host JS is questionable. Here is my team atm

    Turpin
    Tino Watson Lodge
    Fifita Riki
    Cleary Lam
    Bird Roberts
    Teddy Laurie Papy

    Angus
    Brailey
    Liddle
    Host
    Stefano
    Niu
    Moylan

EDIT: also anyone considering Pearce given the knights draw?

Knights have a great draw but it's not like they're an amazing team themselves, they could easily get dominated in any given game.

My 21 has $0ITB since about lunch yesterday and I have felt no compulsion to change.

Maybe because it's a good team, maybe because with no cash reserves it takes 2-3 moves minimum and I'm lazy.

    Players I almost picked:

Isaako - went with Moylan due to money problems
Milf - influenced by the Milf league
Turps - lots of other hookers that I think are more gun or more cow
(still have 3 other Broncos anyway)

Averillo - don't want to stuff around with injuries
Fifita - can't have them all, hopefully starts slow with some try-less games
Fui - I think there's a trap but I can't figure it out exactly. But could also easily play all season long and average 40

I havnt noticed Staines in many teams, he hasn’t left mine in a while to be fair.
Are there better options or worth a crack?. I have Momo and Staines so hoping they get a fair bit of ball over Crichton and To’o

If I was buying a midranger its because I either think they are going to become a keeper or I think they will be a short term cash cow and will be upgraded after 5-8 weeks.

Isaako is purely a cash cow and will need upgrading because his team is shit. Draw for Broncos is Eels, Titans, Bulldogs, Storm, Rabbitohs, Panthers in first 6 so I'm not willing to take the risk. Probably averages between 35-40 which is great but so will Laurie and Hoy for much cheaper.

I wasn't really considering him but now I'm looking at him vs Milf on my bench... Priced about the same, Wallace feels like the safer option for sure, should be a safe 40 average, Milf best case to me is low, maybe mid 40s but obviously so much more risk and could easily avg low 30s instead. Of course I'd have to leave the Milf league so there's that...

My tips for players we haven't talked about at all who are going to gun it this year are Hudson Young and George Williams. Haven't got either in my team, of course, but there in the WAG's.

Good watch, haha. You just know he's going to get white line fever with comments like if I score 50 tries in 4 games.
Brandon Smith locked in because it's going to be fun to watch.

Are most people sticking the vc on their second strongest player, just in case their captain pulls up injured, or are they sticking it on a souths/ storm player who are up first so they could change an extra player if they feel they wanted to.

Vc papy for example instead of Tedesco, so Tedesco could still be swapped during the round

If I could have a few more midrangers in my team Leota and Hudson Young would be my picks. Should step up to the big time.

Safe play is a Storm/Rabbitohs player. I'm on Brandon Smith.

Souths/Storm player for sure, particularly in first week of the season while you can free trade during rolling lockout.

Ignore 2020 Siebold disaster and its pretty easy. bounce bounce bounce

The reality is if Broncos = shit, then Milford (probably) = shit.

The only pure winger I'd ever pick would be a tackle buster, metre eater like Nofoaluma.

no stats. That smile. That step. No Siebold. The allure of Milf Magic. Hard to say no.
