His scores when starting 2rf don't look great but its weird, i think over half of them there was an injury that forced him to ctr.

My opinion hasn't really changed on him but I squeezed down that bench to get BS9 in so at the moment I don't really have room, or the need.

There was a 10 in 69 minutes was when Trbo went down after 9 minutes (and he left the field early on a free interchange)
The 28 against the Tigers had Taufua leave early

I think I've just been talked into him as a better NPR than Moylan. Both could be around mid 30s, but Gosi just has a bit more upside to him
Although given the fragility of the Manly backline, can't rule him out from being shuffled to the backs a lot this year

I think the Levi analogy would be more aptly applied to Turpin. About the same price, no guarantee he makes decent money. Hell Paix could even find his way onto the bench before kick-off. I've got him, but not my favourite pick. Could have Capewell, Hodgson, Sitili, Host instead.

I'm still toying downgrading him to one of those bar Hodgson to upgrade my EMG to be honest.

I've lost the plot. All I could think about during my uni tute was the grand idea of Turpin to Sitili because for some fucked reason I think Sitili is going to score tonight

Okay, now we are going insane.

I haven't touched my team since about 130pm yesterday, except for when I briefly took the "VC a player in the opening game" principle too far and put it on Host for about five minutes. Very relaxed about everything

    Just getting into the bet...

Honestly, I won't mind it if Alvaro scores more fantasy pts than Croker and I lost my self portrait avatar for a week.

I'll mind it more IRL as it means the Dragons are cooked even worse than could be imagined.

At least they have a back on the bench this week, should have one every week with Croker at hooker.

Just remember, the only decisions you' have to make tonight, are captain, Vice captain and Storm/Rabbitohs players

Everything else can wait until tomorrow

Currently I am without Welch/NAS/BSmith so just have to decide if I am happy to run this way.

Host is in my team, and I am comfortable with that.

Just the yips as kick off looms. I think I really wanted BS9 in that spot but didn't have the $. It would mean host is in the 17 and not sure I can live with that.

That's the comparison I've been making. I dodged the Levi bullet last year, and wondering if Turpin might be the same.

At the end of the day if one of those guys bust or boom in the first round, might be worth keeping a bit of cash to switch it up. A 60 by Turpin or Welch or Tino "should" only see a price rise of around $20k...

Would you make the trade if you didnt start with them tho? (if not forced by an injury I mean)

Welch and Turpin will no doubt score above 60 at some point during the year whether they average 43 or 57.

    Bit too knee jerk tbh

To me it is more around team structure, can you easily bring in a $5-600k guy when running guns and cows? I expect most can't without trading out a gun.

    We are on:

Croker (rob) v Alvaro + 9.5 (matt) - highest scorer gets to choose an avatar for the other person for one week.

I actually don't know why I handicapped myself but I'm still confident.
