VC someone tonight (for me it means Paps) and trust nothing weird happens to super (C)hin.

    vs

VC an elite gun (Crichton etc), and trust nothing weird like a training mishap that means I'm stuck spending big money on a NPR.

    Consider me officially paranoid

If both C and VC are late outs in round 1 ill probably just delete my team and wait til 2022

    That said ive VC'd BS9

It's true that Griffin picked him up from a club (Eels) that considered him enough outside of their 17 to loan him (to the Warriors).

    But applying that basis it can also be said;
Poasa Faamausili was loaned to the Warriors from the Roosters on a similar basis (and has also been considered by people on this forum) - before being recruited by the red V.

Andrew McCullough was leased out to the Knights on an even more semi-permanent basis by the Bronco's - before later being recruited by the Dragons.

What I'm mostly getting at is, who-TF knows what goes on in Griffins mind.
Alvaro has literally always been a plodder that doesn't make great yardage, but is a busy player who involves himself in a lot of defence (not that there has been much value placed on that since the great days of Fensom et al).
McCullough isn't an earth-shattering Hooker of the modern game either, but he has an appeal to a certain type of coach... Alvaro could be a bad buy, or he could be easy money?

The difference is Poasa is on the up in his career and the roosters couldnt keep everyone.

    Alvaro wasnt wanted by anyone

Griffin might like him tho so who knows

Where did the love for NAS go?

Big potential upside in points with a 10min increase on 37 from last year.

The problem with those tries is they often come without a line break or tackle breaks, for just 8 points

Agree, but we also know that the Roosters CAN keep everyone (and still have cap left to buy some more) Laughing

Funny - I hadn't considered both VC & C being out (hasn't happened to me in 10+ years so not really worried).

Also Griffin is a whack job so who knows what he's thinking. I pray he doesn't play Kerr on the edge and Williame on the bench but who knows.

Roosters wanted to keep Faamausili, but Robinson thought ht was too good for reserve grade and not enough guaranteed game time. I expect he will look a better player than last season

Alvaro seems to perform alright when he gets a run but no club wants to keep him. Must have a shit attitude at training for him to be last resort

Just bought a house at auction. Writing for pizza now, with a weird stress-rebound headache.

Epic day. And we still have the footy to come!

There will be some serious drunken smack talk later - fair warning given.

Parachuting Fuimaono into my squad over Moylan and possibly straight into the 17. Any projections minutes wise or are we better off not trying to predict hooks thought process?

    Fifi, Riki
    Moses, Munster
    Averillo, Jet
    Teddy, pap, Laurie

    Brailey, Watson, Host, Liddle

    Gosie, Niu, Stefano, Simonsson.

    6k ITB

    suggestions plsss

I rate the Moses/Munster combo, could very potentially go bigger than Cleary/Lam for a pretty much similar price

Congrats on your new home! Auctions are super stressful! It’s like you want a mid ranger but they are asking for a keeper!
