Has anyone made a team without Cleary? Thinking of running Munster over him and fking off a guy like Lodge

It's fine. Rating sides seems pretty pointless now they all are almost the same. Looks like we have 3 different players so much of a muchness. I like the Fog pick though.

Tbh it's only really 3 decisions I wanted advice on

* Starting with Teddy over some other gun - I've flip flopped on this a few times

* Croker vs some other cheapie

* Fog vs Munster

How many Guns do people have currently? (Averaging 50+, at least based on 2020)

VC someone tonight (for me it means Paps) and trust nothing weird happens to super (C)hin.

vs

VC an elite gun (Crichton etc), and trust nothing weird like a training mishap that means I'm stuck spending big money on a NPR.

I just feel like you need Papi instead of Hoppa there. I'd honestly downgrade someone to get him in somehow if possible, he's going to be elite this year imo

I'm in a bit of a dilemma, should I keep cook or swap him for fogarty which will slot straight into my halves for Moylan and use the spare money on upgrading gosiewski.

Both scenarios are unlikely, but I'd rather double Pappy's score, than have the expensive NPR and forced trade. Vc Pappy.

Just on the Alvaro topic a few pages back;

It's true that Griffin picked him up from a club (Eels) that considered him enough outside of their 17 to loan him (to the Warriors).

But applying that basis it can also be said;
Poasa Faamausili was loaned to the Warriors from the Roosters on a similar basis (and has also been considered by people on this forum) - before being recruited by the red V.

Andrew McCullough was leased out to the Knights on an even more semi-permanent basis by the Bronco's - before later being recruited by the Dragons.

What I'm mostly getting at is, who-TF knows what goes on in Griffins mind.
Alvaro has literally always been a plodder that doesn't make great yardage, but is a busy player who involves himself in a lot of defence (not that there has been much value placed on that since the great days of Fensom et al).
McCullough isn't an earth-shattering Hooker of the modern game either, but he has an appeal to a certain type of coach... Alvaro could be a bad buy, or he could be easy money?

I don't see him exploding past his price point straight out of the blocks. I think Hopoate will make money faster than he does albeit scoring less but it allows me to secure points elsewhere.
