I know it's so easy to say this now and whatever, and obviously really early to be bringing it up but wow I am pissed off at myself for not even having a look at Flanagan over Moses. Both really similar players fantasy wise and rely on big kick meters, but I knew before choosing Moses that he was gonna switch sides in an attempt to open up Dyl Browns kicking game whereas Flano was going to 100% be the dominant kicker. Ah well obviously bigger fish to fry (already got 3 players who have scored in the 20's) so this isn't my main concern

Not terribly worried about Lanes score he was awful at the start. Made a lot of tackles and a couple of times i noticed the was following the play of the ball defensively.

I am worried about the 63 mins though hopefully that trend doesnt continue

For all the bullshit about Mahoney playing less minutes this year, he played 80 minutes and the bench utility played 4 minutes while he was on the field and got a tonne.

I'm expecting Lolo will tonne up tomorrow.

Gone from a very nervous Milf owner to visions of holding him until one of my last upgrades around rd 17. I'm sure his laziness or bad hammies will put an end to that at some point, but a man can dream.

Only really interested in Mead so far. I was imagining him washed up but still looked pretty electric for his age. Bloke looked more like 22 than 32. Anyone know his historical scoring? I'm guessing ~30?

Not planning to chase Arrow or Latrells points, particularly due to the fact they also belong to the dodgy hammy club. Lodge>Mead might do the trick, but still 5 games to survive, particularly the 4 tigers cheapies + Simonsson that will make or break my Sunday afternoon. Could really use an "Utoikamanu is literally Payne Haas" type occurrence so I don't have to stress about MID or EDG cover.

Oh, and Averillo & Hoy just felt like victims of the bad weather to me, didn't suit their styles at all. Avo's defence was fine and kicking game was tidy. Still wishing I'd taken the plunge on Momirovski though.

Whilst I agree 100% on Lolo, and I tried everything I possibly could to get him in my team but being 1K short to bring in Isaako really fucked that- long story. Anyway, I agree he'll be every single bit as effective this year as any other year.

On Mahoney, though, do you reckon he would have played those minutes if Eels shot out to a 24-0 lead? I tend to think not. I think it was just the nature of the contest that saw him play that many minutes. Could be wrong, but that's how I saw it. One thing for sure, my Auto fill team will outscore the shit out of my proper team this week. Sad

Why did 19% of people pickup Bradley Deitz? Casuals would never have heard of him. And the autofill algorithm didn't have a chance to skew results given he wasn't available at the start. WTF? Were people that desperate for a 228k guy?

Thanks fuck x 2. I played him everywhere, but by the grace of sweet christ I played him in my NPR in VSDT. And I think SC too, to be honest.

Also, by some happy accident I have just enough ITB over at my SC team to go Lodge>Arrow if no other trades are needed. Definitely keen on that one.

8/349 for me pending updates so not the best!

Riki 27, Host, 26, Avo 20 and Lodge injured and 14 have let me down.

To make matters worse I only have 2k spare for a Lodge replacement next week!

I could downgrade Macca, D. Fifita or Teddy to save funds for a Lodge upgrade but I don’t think that’s a wise idea..... thoughts??

    Mixed night in the office.

Brailey and Watson very nice in the first match. Delicious, in fact.

Averillo disappointing. Haven't had a chance to read through comments, or even watch the games in mad detail as my parents are down for the weekend, but I did see someone mention the weather and I'll use that as an excuse too. I'll ride him through, but did expect more.

Looking at that scorecard, grateful as fuck I never considered Corey Allan. Ouch.

Second game I can honestly say I was that immersed in it that I wasn't too concerned about Fantasy scores, but it was a bit rough seeing the wash-up from that one.

Missed the Milford train and thought you dudes were lunatics to be aboard but now kicking my balls into my sternum for missing out.

Really intrigued by Papali'i's minutes. Always liked him as a player and was genuinely stoked as an Eels fan to pick him up this year. Some true untapped talent available here. But now curious in his Fantasy prospects too. Loved the look of him out there, but will he have that role every week?

    Turpin - solid.

Matterson - really disappointing only because of what I sacrificed to put him in my squad. I know he'll score well next week, or the week after. He's safe as houses (I hope) but I'm a bit annoyed with myself for not just going with Teddy to start with instead, which was my other option for that cash.

Isaako was okay, hoped for a bit more. Niu, solid and passed the eye test with me. Riki a bit of a concern and Lodge a real pain in my buttocks. Worried about what I can do with him at his price. Guess we'll see what happens there.
