was having a conversation about rugby with my son the other day and he was asking what players I’d want in Wales team now in different positions etc, who was my favourite English player etc etc. Started showing him some Cullen highlights, came home from work next day and he’s got YouTube on the main tv watching old school re-runs with Cullen, Osbourne, Little etc. Mental how many worldies he scored against the Aussies as well
There was a 3 year period where at the Hong Kong 7's we debuted Jonah Lomu, then Christian Cullen, then Glen Osborne - it just seemed like the crazy talent was endless!
I used to catch Hurricanes games at Athletic park up the top of the Millard Stand where you felt you were hovering over the ground and that a big enough gust of wind would either blow you off the side or cause the rusty iron struts to crumble. Fun times!

Not a head coach, but I'd go with Matt Elliott. Easy come, easy go. Don't stress about the details - it's more about "the vibe" man...

Very lucky to have grown up watching some of my hero’s mate! Best I can get currently do is being put in weekendly headlocks by Glyn Llewelyn (brother of 92 cap Wales legend Gareth Llewelyn) for telling him his brother was shitfilthridden wrote:

MTB - Do you have an arch-nemesis to be the Trent Robinson? (is that VK?)
That just leaves a:
Justin Holbrook - great trader (I dunno if MS is a great trader? but he always seems to be a good voice of reason)
Todd Payten - ?

These were the guys in their primes I grew up watching, obviously Lomu but everyone says him and for good reason plus I have seen him a few times playing for Cardiff but well past his prime unfortunately. Not sure if anyone remembers Pieter Muller but he was an incredible player for Cardiff for a few years then we had Percy and Teichmann at Newport, great times!easytiger wrote:

The only players I could realistically downgrade are Angus and Ted, and I don't want to do that. I'd actually swap Cleary for the Neck but he's my caption so not an option. I could swap Lam for Ofa already or even Croker but that just looks gross. Only have 12K so no wiggle room. Could swap Tino for Ofa for cash but that looks even worse. Or could just run with only Stefan as mid cover next week. Probably not the worst option.
I think Lam goes good so reluctant to move him on now.

I'm not sure I see myself as anyone personally. Todd Payten seems my type of unassuming somewhat closed character but at the same time, I don't really know his character enough to compare.

Who's Cleary? Do we have any particularly nepotistic posters?

I definitely wouldn't downgrade a gun like Teddy and Crichton. If the goal is to save yourself a trade (by downgrading now), then you'll still need to burn another trade later in the season to bring them back in while missing the points.

I well remember Pieter Muller - he was one of the premier Centres in the game at the time - brilliant defensively if I recall correctly.

Hold on a minute. I went to sleep last night with Moses on 55 now updated to 67. That's beautiful!! I definitely don't think he broke 7 tackles last night to be honest but I certainly will not complain!
On another note I'm feeling a fkn huge game from Fifi today running at the warriors halves, should be awesome to watch

Pity I've already nominated MTB for Bellamy, as you could've been suited for that one too (on the basis of hoarding all the good Hookers).
haha I wasn't always a one trick pony with hookers, used to get into team tracking too
I would like to think I am always changing it up a bit like one big experiment, giving unpopular players a chance too like Carty/Maloney/Milf
Maybe I am the Hasler

Agree on those two. No way I'm touching them.

Paulo spent alot of the first half sitting a little wider. To me it looks like a definite plan to manage his workload during the game so that he can play big minutes.
