I’m 219. Mostly fewer players so far, but feel like I’ve got a few shit ones too.

Needs some help lads. With Lodge going down and the uncertainty regarding Tyrell Fuimaono role within the dragons team, will have to downgrade Macca to get some MID cover to either -

    TU - SST
    TD - Tino

    Cheers Lads!

wolfking wrote:The only players I could realistically downgrade are Angus and Ted, and I don't want to do that.  I'd actually swap Cleary for the Neck but he's my caption so not an option.   I could swap Lam for Ofa already or even Croker but that just looks gross.  Only have 12K so no wiggle room.  Could swap Tino for Ofa for cash but that looks even worse.  Or could just run with only Stefan as mid cover next week.  Probably not the worst option.

I think Lam goes good so reluctant to move him on now.

Crichton is my only mid cover and with nothing ITB I’d be looking next week at Lodge -> Stefano at this stage and having to play Croker. Not great

I also looked at downgrading to a MID sub-gun, or swapping Lam for Ofa (playing Croker this week) to free up cash for a better Lodge upgrade next week (any position)

I think I’m waiting and seeing for now. But I get why people see leave 100k in the bank, especially as I’ve gone gun/cow (no players between 450-650k) and that doesn’t leave much room to move.

SST. But only gives you about 50k, is that enough for your tentative moves next week?

Yeah Lodge and Riki owner here. I had hoped for a bigger score from Hoy as well, but 28 isn't too bad.
I've got a few trade options in mind already

At least I've got plenty of MIDs to cover for the Lodge injury.

It should leave me enough coinage to do a straight swap of Lodge - Milf in a single trade.

I traded Lodge out for Egan about an hour before the first game. The first part of that trade worked well, now to see about the second.

In the same boat. Likely just to trade Lodge to a cheap mid, move Angus to mid and play Croker.

What do you think Matt Burton's chances are of being released to the Dogs? I need to revamp my team already!

I reckon Lodge is bad because he's injured, but I think as long as Riki doesn't miss 10 tackles a game, he is still OK and Host is maybe a kind of par. Don't know whether he'll improve or not.

    NRL Physio re Lodge

Matt Lodge off in the 1st half with a hamstring strain. Appeared to suffer injury on first run in vid below, then tried to take another hitup & succumbed to injury. Likely minor, if confirmed even minor hamstring strains usually require 2-4 weeks return to play (increased reinjury rate)

    That just leaves a:
Justin Holbrook - great trader (I dunno if MS is a great trader? but he always seems to be a good voice of reason)
    Todd Payten - ?

Feel like I'm more of a Gus Gould. Used to be good, says a lot of wise stuff but always over thinking into dumb decisions and thinks he is the smartest man in the room

EDIT: And performs best around the byes

I'm inclined to agree, depending on how the rest of the round goes I can myself trading out Lodge and Host and holding Riki.

Big day today with Fifi, Tino, Crichton, Lam and captain Cleary to play, though all are pretty highly owned.
