Any flaws to my thinking? Or anything I've missed?

Of course it's all subject to no one at his price point being super-must-have-desirable (I only have $1k in the bank)

Exactly what I was thinking. He still has the potential to make money even if he is out for 2 weeks unless of course a super cash cow appears in the horizon.

Keighran sent for scans for dislocated wrist (4-6 weeks best case) & with Friend HIA have to imagine it'd be Lam HOK with Lussick bench (if Verrills not fit)

I'll see how Stefan goes first but to hold Lodge you'd expect a big return in the future.

I’ll consider it if Liddle goes well tonight (40+). Can then just move Lodge to NPRs till he returns and still run a half decent bench.

Will then just do RSmith to Leniu as my only trade

With all of the duddish week 1 cows I’m concerned about what Stefano will put up tonight

Really regretting no Cleary. Would probably have to give up Munster + Tino for Cleary + Leniu/LAM.

Munster scored well, but needed a try got get 50+ and not sure Tino is going to put up the scores people hoped for.

Is it worth spending 2 trades for Cleary?

Simonsson has averaged 30 from 19 games playing 80 minutes. Top score of 59 with 4 scores over 40 and 4 scores under 20. Includes 9 tries which is reasonable for a winger.

Moylan played most of 2018 at 5/8 and averaged 34 from 21 games. top score of 82 with 4 scores over 40 and 3 under 20. 2 tries.

Simo priced at 18 and Moylan at 23 so not much between them but the extra 65k in the bank is appealing if ignoring positional coverage.

Munster doesn’t need a try to get 55. Can get there without it. Not like he’s going to need a try to get there every week mate

You started with him for a reason mate.  Season keeper but I can see the thinking if you have plenty of hooker depth.

She’s actually on the Mrs team and she’s annoyed I didn’t talk her out of him haha. Guess I’m just looking for some reassuring words, so thanks for that!

It's not that Cleary's score took you by surprise. Stick with the original plan.

Moylans injury history has to be a factor. 65k ITB + more chance of sticking around to realise his gains makes Simonsson an easy winner for me.

That’s definitely the trend since half way through last year but that’s being very cherry picky, since I’ve owned him during that time.

Surely he will be fine though.

In answer to Wolfy; the fundamentals for me selecting him haven't changed, just his injury risk has increased a bit more (it was already a moderate risk), and the speed of any gain has been slowed a bit to start.

If he can avoid further injury for the first half of the season at least then I still think: he makes $100k minimum,  if things go well then he has potential to make $200k+.
If nothing else he has good job security to offset the poor wellness security

The company line is HOLD. But with the Panthers being so stacked and having the likes of May and Burton around, they can probably afford to give him a rest pretty often. Wouldn't blame his owners for considering an aggressive early move if you don't have any other issues.

He was one that never left my drafts mate and disappointed with the injury. I'll take your thinking into consideration because it definitely has merit but my lack of forward depth would make it near impossible for me to hold. But I'll see how things play out.

Potential for some weather issues today, particularly the late game. Going to be interested to see how confident Jack Bird looks changing direction.

Off to a cracker mate, well done Camo.
