Doubt we'll be rushing Jake Friend back any time soon, so until Verrills/Radley are back I wouldn't be surprised to see Lam go to 9 for a couple of weeks and Hutchison come in to 6. I think Lam is still good value at hooker, can make a lot of tackles.

Lam was on 20 points at half time without doing much then had to spend 33 minutes playing dummy half.
To come out of that with 31 is okay. I'd wait and see how he goes with a full game at half before declaring him a flop.

100% agree, was playing hooker but defending wide. If he’s named hooker in Friends absence and has a week training there again he will rack up tackles defending there. Keary also showed today he cant control the long kicking game, loads of errors and I’m confident it will get shared moving forwardMr Snrub wrote:Lam was on 20 points at half time without doing much then had to spend 33 minutes playing dummy half.

Will be interesting to see what the Rooster do, does Hutchinson take AKs spot on the bench or does he get named in the halves. Either way I think, one of Lussick and Walker are in the mix.

What would you guys do with Api? Going to lose a bit of cash this week and have a high BE, but was hoping to conserve trades.

You started with him for a reason mate. Season keeper but I can see the thinking if you have plenty of hooker depth.

The workload will even out between him and Keary and they kept going that side because it was easily the more fragile edge. His kicking game and defence was excellent and the move to hooker while defending wide hurt. I'm fine with the score and happy to hold. I think his prospects look good.

Have the right bank for Croker to Milf if I choose Poasa over Fui (could also go Stefano or Alvaro). Not much confidence in Fui anyway so will probably do it, but not sure who to. Poasa seems likeliest for largest role?

$260k, after booting Angus for Capewell and doing some other moves before TLT
Still made it to 815 with Bird, Laurie and Liddle to play so keeping up alright
Think I'll just go Lodge + Croker to Leniu + LAM and consternate over which one goes in my 17

I like your original moves mate. I got a fair amount of bank but nothing like that! I think I’m going to try and get Cleary in after a 96 lolEnchanted Glossy Flamingo wrote:

Could be on for the 1k
721/11(c) with Roberts, Laurie, Liddle, Macca, Townsend and Fui left over
Think I could probably get away with no trades as well if nothing goes wrong today, unless I do some sideways trade to Milford/BSiro with one of Lam/Townsend. If Lam named at HOK will definitely keep

Nathan Cleary (c) might be the new rule number 1 with CS9 retired

Genuinely considering a hold Lodge option;
- would need to only be 1-2 weeks confirmed minor hamstring injury
- Not too concerned about Haas coming back (I think if Lodge is fit he likely gets 40+ minutes anyway)
- Saves a trade and if Lodge was value at $390k, then should be value at $370k (assuming he gets back)
- Hamstring injury seems particularly high risk of reinjury so would need to be NPR on return.
- In the meantime can use him as a loop to pick the best score between Leniu and Stefano
Any flaws to my thinking? Or anything I've missed?
Of course it's all subject to no one at his price point being super-must-have-desirable (I only have $1k in the bank)
