Tough crowd here, some serious talent which builds cookie cutter teams but zero panic because I know the drill.

885 with Lodge, Bird, Roberts, Riki and but it was No Cleary which killed my score against everyone here.

Well done to all the good scorers this week
I got 871 - usual suspects scoring poorly. Also the late switch off Koro was right - to give some cash and positional flexibility for trading Lodge out. But going to Papa and not Vaughan/Tapine was wrong - For this week at least, long run is probably fine.
Would be nice to start a season not 100 pts off the pace tho.

889 with the same guys, but I do have Cleary. Lam and Host also in the starting side arent great.

Lam is completely fine I reckon, zero worries thereRandomSil wrote:

people too quick to look at one off scores, good and bad. If he scored that 31 amongst a 6 game average of 40+ no one gives a shit
Lodge the likely go for me.

Really liked what I saw from Matt Moylan. Busy in attack, wasn't a turnstile in defence and took on the line frequently.

I got 936 and my CTRs suck also but I don’t have lodge and I have Welch to cover Angus.
I am thinking I might offload Croker though.

Really poor start to the season but I think only Lodge is going to depart my banquet of muppets this week. If I could be bothered to fuck around with centres I would cut Bird straight away but no way I'm going to muck around bringing in another centre with all the other options this week. Ofa looks to be pretty clear cut Lodge replacement for me.
That all said, I have great concern about Croker (job security and shitness), Laurie (job security), Utoikamanu (really underwhelming) and of course Averillo and Bird. But I do think both of them will perform better on dry tracks.

909, inside the top 10,000 so i'll take that, I've had many much worse starts, first thought for trades is Lodge to Ofa, budget willing, have 73k to work with there, need the magic number to be kind to me.

My teddy to your Cleary. Least we basically have one main problem. We correct and we move on.

How did Ofa look, doesn’t have the minutes to maintain that scoring does he?surmo13 wrote:909, inside the top 10,000 so i'll take that, I've had many much worse starts, first thought for trades is Lodge to Ofa, budget willing, have 73k to work with there, need the magic number to be kind to me.

If I'd made some insane calls with my Emergencies I could've got more, with Host scoring more than Riki, Alvaro and Utoikamanu more than Lodge and Niu more than either Roberts and Averillo, but of course hindsight is a wonderful thing etc. etc.

Just keep plugging away. Reason score looks bad here as I’ve said above is there is some serious talent here and that’s what you are judging scores on after first week. The causals who have had a good R1 will fall away and most here will rise to top as similar starting teams. Just competing with some of the best back end of season thenRapture_NRL wrote:
