If they're not injured I'm going to hold until I'm convinced they're shithouse after 2-3 weeks of poor scores.

I did the same and sold Napa for Blake Lawrie, one of the best trades I did that year

Found it in my old thread and it got me thinking
Sometimes you need to trust your gut and risk it for the biscuit
So I am going to trade away personally

Brown has already mentioned Pompey is next in line for the centre spot. Fus is seen only as a winger now, going by the off season chat. But who knows with injuries I guess. If another goes down I guess Perham is also there.

I'm only wanting to dump Lodge, and will be getting in Brailey at this stage. LAM is an option, but he's a meat and potatoes 35-45 points in base stats guy. Brailey has more upside.. Townsend is tempting me also.

My centres sucked this week, but will give them time. Niu hardly burnt me thankfully (I didn't get him). With Pap, Teddy, Mitchell and Laurie, my back line is looking packed. Thinking I should have upgraded Kerr (yeah a risk there, looks like he could be a slow burner.. Will give him a week or 2) for the sake of playing Laurie.

I do recall something about saying he was unlucky to miss out on the 17, but not sure it meant starting centre - bench as a utility

    Currently thinking
    Lodge to sironen
    Croker to milford
    Gives me

    Brailey
    Afb welch watson
    Fifita sironen
    Munster lam
    Averillo reimis
    Pappy rts laurie

    Liddle townsend milford turpin

    Angus niu rikki stefan

Might take the risk with fifita as captain with angus out.

I agree that consistent  scores near 60 unlikely to happen. But he's still underpriced as a starting prop. He might not make as much money as you'd like, but I think he will do well enough to avoid being called a trap.

Main question is whether he is better value than cheaper mids, who might make more money (Alvaro, Leniu, LAM etc), but will probably score less in doing so.

Of course. As a replacement for Lodge the player is going to have to start for a least a few weeks. Much happier starting with Ofa as opposed to a bench forward

    Tyson Smoothy is $219k.

(They'll probably fix that bug unless they ride it out and say players can go below base this season - which would change the game completely - but possible that he'll stay that price all season?

He'll stop at $212k (assuming his scores are low enough to cause more price drops)

While the majority of the forum is contemplating MIDs, I'm looking for some cheap reliable Edge players after coping Riki's 23 points (10 missed tackles). I'm happy to keep Riki in the EMG for now as a cashcow, but will be looking at different option in the 2nd Edge spot.

There are slim pickings on the edge:
Bailey Sironen: 49mins, defending in the middle a bit, hence the 37 tackles.
Alex Glenn: 80 mins, nothing new here stat wise, but job security seems to be a plus
Mitchell Dunn: 80 mins, but history doesn't show too much promise
Fuimaono: 50 mins in the middle, cheap, DPP, but job security is questionable

Leaning toward Fui atm, mainly because he'll leaves me with around 110k itb, and could make around 200k

Yeah there a couple of times he scored well with 80 mins, but a few where he very much didn't. Could be to risky hey. Sironen also appeals, from ur list Chewie. Almost.wish he didn't score a try haha

Not mad at those trades but Lam is a lot of money to not even be in the 17.

The fabled Greg Marzhew might finally debut.

He was playing centre in one of the trials. Phillip Sami and Tremain Spry are the other options

Very happy with him, 26 points in KM alone

Hopefully SJ stays away until R6-8 and should earn enough money

Any idea on who replaces Ramien, Ferris??

Ofa could easily slot into the backrow imo.  He didnt concede much ground in chasing george wlliams to the try line and does some  covering defence efforts other props don't do.
