Yeah not overly pleased, could just do the Lodge to Milf trade and hope Smith can score double digits this year. Just think it’s best to just cut the rubbish early and get the money building

Who to captain this week for my h2h matchup. Opponent doesn't have Fifita which is why I'm leaning towards him.

    TU: Fifita
    TD: Teddy

Yea mate guess it also gives you plenty of options throughout the 21 so could work.

the Brian Kelly news kinda messes me up a bit... not sure what to do now... i could trade him down to Momirovski then trade croker for Milf? but i really didnt want to make 2 trades this week.

Shit man that's a hard one. Fifita against his old sides pretty juicy but teddy against the Tigers could go massive.

Hopefully SJ stays away until R6-8 and should earn enough money

Any idea on who replaces Ramien, Ferris??

Hiroti or Ferris. I'd like Ferris to have a run.
Mentioned that Chad had an ankle issue but should be ok for R2.

My goal this year was to conserve trades and not waste them, so the Lodge situation is really tricky.

On one hand keeping an extra trade, knowing I'll have a reasonable EMG MID that might slow burn some cash plays into my thinking at the start of the season.

On the other hand, trading him to Leniu gets me cash generation for the next 2-3 weeks while Lodge is out, and potentially 100-150k in cash (provided Leniu continues with 30-40 mins a game).

I'm not really all that familiar with Leniu as I didn't follow the Panthers that closely last year. I've heard a lot of good things on here about him. Can I get people's thoughts on whether we think Leniu:
    a) passes the eye test for ability and longevity
    b) has the job security and
    c) will continue getting good minutes (30-40) for the next half-season

    Cheers fellas

No, I like Lam for now, hasn't had his chance to shine yet.

There would have to be another sacrificial Lamb to go.

I completely condone burning through trades in the first couple of weeks tbh. All about getting setup with the right platform for the long haul. As long as you can be responsible with them from there.

    Evening lads.

I felt Host ran a lot of good lines into gaps on attack but was skip passed. Is that a CWalker trait or are they just still working out the combinations you think?

Yeah there a couple of times he scored well with 80 mins, but a few where he very much didn't. Could be to risky hey. Sironen also appeals, from ur list Chewie. Almost.wish he didn't score a try haha

Yeah I liked the look of Siro too, but was he defending in the middle just to help Tohu playing big mins? I'm not sure he'll be doing that in a few weeks when match fitness is up.
