I think I like LAM best, but I can't get him with one trade.

In that case, Leniu + 1 banked trade is better than LAM + max-trade, right?

The only case would be going Croker to Verills now in anticipation of him getting a starting spot. Too risky right?

Beasting in 63 minutes, just great base stats. Happy to give up Riki to get him. Can see Riki beating his 10 missed tackles from last week vs a fit Fifita and getting dropped to the bench.

    NAS > Collins
    Riki > Brailey
    $4k remaining

Gives me 2 very playable guys that look like they can go huge on their day.

I reckon NAS and Collins is sideways. NAS is going to boom/bust - could easily get the score you were hoping for last week this week.

Meanwhile Collins almost certainly won’t play 60 mins every week. In closer games, I think they play SST as the lead forward, if nothing else because they might need him kicking goals over Teddy! JWH could still get more minutes some games too.

I cannot believe people are talking about trading centres. Uninjured centres!

If this sounds like you then please hand in your fantasy footy license to the friendly staff at FootyStatistics.com, and write ‘absolute dumbass’ in the ‘Reason for Leaving’ section.

And don’t forget to give yourself a complementary uppercut as you leave the building!

Plus with Radley coming back to lock Liu will go back to the prop rotation and will certainly get more than DFifitas 20mins. Pass from me

I can go Lodge to LAM in one trade but feels like I'm just hopping on a low BE because he's not going to score a try every week when somebody cheaper could probably produce similar scores albeit make cash at a slower rate.

Someone else posted they had read that Roosters were targeting Collins getting 60 minutes each week. Given he will run around a point a minute, at current pricing he is massively undervalued, getting 50-60 minutes per game. If he gets attacking stats / tries like we know he is capable of, can put up some massive scores.

I can grab any MID under $640k for Lodge.

Also thinking Host to Leniu but that seems very sideways and I gave up on Su'a early last year and he still made decent cash longterm.

Looking like I'll hold my two trades unless a basement cow comes out of the woodworks during the week. Doesn't really feel like rd 1 though, not nearly enough injury carnage

    48k bank

    Turpin
    BS9 Lodge Watson
    Fifita Riki
    Cleary Lam
    Roberts Averillo
    Teddy Papy Laurie

    Angus
    Brailey
    Liddle
    Milford

    Moylan
    Niu
    Simonsson
    Stefano

I’ve got a very similar team to you mate. Only differences are Munster/Host/Croker instead of BS9/Milford/Moylan

Right now I’m looking at Lodge and Croker out. Lodge due to injury and Croker due to failed cow. I can get both Leniu and Alvaro in if I want - though that is questionable

I can also go Host out instead of Croker. Which allows me to get one of Ofa/Milf and one of Leniu/Alvaro. Though I’m inclined to give Host another week against a shit Manly side. If he’s benched though that’ll force my hand

The only way that I can get Brailey, is trading NAS, so my only decision is if Riki > Collins is a good trade, which I think is a no brainer.

I’ve been telling myself to give Host another week against Manly. Like you said it screams SuA like last year. First round 20ish points with 60 minutes. Then smashed out a 50 and a 40 average moving forward

Insane right? I’m just thankful I managed to get 21 players through round 1 uninjured! Gonna count my blessing and bank the two trades

I gave up on Dylan Napa after Round 1 about 2 years ago (?) and he scored a try the next week lol

If they're not injured I'm going to hold until I'm convinced they're shithouse after 2-3 weeks of poor scores.

I tempted to do the same but with Milford after saying I won't touch him with a 10 foot pole all preseason affraid

Probably will stick with no trades though as pretty sideways getting rid of Lam

I know you like your PODs, but surely not? SST + JWH didn't even play 80 between them in a blowout, Radley not far off taking some middle minutes, and that's (comfortably) the most minutes Collins has ever played.

Surely Siro defending in the middle a better POD in that price range, or Tupounia if you're set on trading Riki?

Pompey is a better 18th as he can play the whole backline. I think with Aitken out though, they bring Montoya in. Could be wrong, but I think Brown sees that as stronger than Pompey centre (or wing)

Brown has already mentioned Pompey is next in line for the centre spot. Fus is seen only as a winger now, going by the off season chat. But who knows with injuries I guess. If another goes down I guess Perham is also there.

I'm only wanting to dump Lodge, and will be getting in Brailey at this stage. LAM is an option, but he's a meat and potatoes 35-45 points in base stats guy. Brailey has more upside.. Townsend is tempting me also.

My centres sucked this week, but will give them time. Niu hardly burnt me thankfully (I didn't get him). With Pap, Teddy, Mitchell and Laurie, my back line is looking packed. Thinking I should have upgraded Kerr (yeah a risk there, looks like he could be a slow burner.. Will give him a week or 2) for the sake of playing Laurie.
