I think we might see a role reversal this week. All unexpected high performers from last week will come down to earth and underperformers from last week might have a better week other than Gos ^ Croker.
Perhaps set up the team in such a way to keep the options open for the ones playing early.

I think I'm going to go against all my previous posts and against my tradeaholic ways and just hold Gosiewski hoping Verrills appears next week

Listening to NRL Fantasy Amateurs podcast and interesting point that in preseason you look for cow to make 150k but if you're making a trade you actually want guy you're trading in to make 150k more than guy you're trading out (more relevant for players playing than red dots obviously)

So Lawton is in fact off to Manly. Pity he's injured till R12, would probably slot right in

You reckon? I have him this week and I’m very worried - benji, reynolds, walker and latrell.. too many ball players will be asking for the ball me thinks

I reckon I'm the only one here trading Collins in.

Can't think of a previous season when cash generation has been so hard. Unless super cows come a long soon good luck fielding a gun team 3 quarters through the season.

Currently can't see how teams are going to have the likes of cook Hass crichton dce cleary ponga and teddy without gimping the rest of their team later in the season

It's him who decides if he wants to pass the ball or not. I dont have him but I was looking at some left field captaincy options.

Trying to find reasons to keep a fit Reimis Smith is tough.

    - BE of 32 which he’s only ever gone over (and barely) twice when playing at CTR.
    - Players like Leniu and Alvaro that can easily be jumped too.

But just the doubt of trading a fit player is tough to overcome

Yeah it's week 1 only so hopefully normal services resumes soon.

I think first time ever I have regretted not carrying money ITB as every year there would be cheap cash cow options galore- not necessarily making you enough cash but on the face value they look like cash cows.

You dont go for all those guys, you get this year's underpriced guys that can match their scoring.

Probably smart to take Croker out of my 17 if I have to carry him another week. WOuld Laurie be the best bet to put in my 17 out of him, Averillo and Niu?

There's no Haas or Grant of course, but the big thing is the absence of any base price starting halves who can pump out 40s or more. Entry level for that is the mid 400s.

Who can get near Teddy and Ponga? Haas? No one looks like getting anywhere near Cleary? Crichton?

Just rewatched some of Panthers-Cowboys game to see why Koro was subbed.
The Panthers were 8-0 up, but the Cowboys were getting close to getting over the line. Koro was leading the tackle-count, looked pretty gassed, but could have played on. The Panther's needed a bit of an energy injection and brought on Tyrone May. In the next attacking set May is part of opening up the Cowboys defense and it changes the momentum.
Koro is subbed of at 49mins, Panthers score tries in 52nd, 58th, and 61st minute.

It looks like coach Cleary made the right call. I don't think it will happen every week, but I can see the tactical reasons.

I have no need to trade, but will anyway. I was going to bring in Latrell, but with Teddy and Paps there already is that too much? I’ll be stuffed at origin that’s for sure!
